I think it was in last night's One Show VT that we saw Jessie hugging some dark haired guy in the studio. Could that be him?

Are 'floor manager' and 'stage manager' the same job
No- they are different jobs.
"The Floor Manager is the Director's representative on the studio floor, and is responsible for giving instruction and direction to crew, cast and guests. It is closest to the role of an Assistant Director, as the job frequently entails barking orders to keep a production moving to schedule. The Floor Manager is always in direct contact with the Director via talkback in the gallery."
"The stage management team (which can consist of a production stage manager, several assistant stage managers, and any number of production assistants) is responsible for organizing the production, communicating across different disciplines (e.g., between the director and the backstage crew, or the actors and production management), and keeping everything running smoothly."
