Given the social enginering going on with the voting system, the inexplicable decisions from the judges such as putting The Cheeky Monkeys through instead of Flava and then puting the far inferior dance act Nemisis through instead of Craig Harper.

Most of all escala have the earnings potential in the album market which Simon Cowell is dying to exploit.

The fact that they are being marketed on the show as a bunch of undiscovered lounge musicians when in fact they are all professionals two of which have had record deals and as a group have supported mcfly proves to me that the 'fix' is definitely in.

Dont be suprised to see them perform near the start of voting again tonight.

Its up to the great british public to see through such manipulations, dont bet on it though i think you could be right to the outcome.

Is it just me or is this a least the 4th thread to comment on Escala, competition rigging and whether they should/deserve to win?

I hope that George wins

That is round about the time Bond are due to release their fourth album. Interesting to see how Escala fare against the originals - and, to my mind, the best.

Escala will win by a President Mugabe mile! Over a fifth of the population would have heard of them by then while bond are still relatively unheard of. This is the reason they were asked to enter the competition, for exposure!

I like ESCALA but the concept of an all female electric string classical/crossover quartet is not original, it's already been done by a band called BOND who released at least three albums since 2003.

I would like to see Kate & Gin or George Sampson win.

Good luck to all the finalists

As, I suspect, will Charlie Green, Faryl and Andrew Johnston.

Bond's next album is all original works though isn't it?

Also I think it *could* be a movie soundtrack.

Not sure whether they will actually win although they stand a good chance, but the first thing that struck me about them was how manufactured they look, and imo something is a little fishy. I'm sure they are new Simon Cowell proteges put on the show for maximum publicity and exposure.

I hope someone genuine and 'straight of the street' wins and I really cannot stand the false pretences of this type of show and how Simon Cowell & co will use it to their advantage to launch their acts.

I can see the pound signs in his eyes right now

Agree Flava were better than Nemisis, but no way would I have put Craig Harper in the final. I thought he was pathetic (but then all these acts are down to a matter of opinion and taste).

A movie soundtrack would certainly increase their audience, and deservedly so.

I want them to win but I don't think they will. I think it'll possibly be Faryl.

They better not win, they don't have the most talent

I love Escala, I think their amazing. I actually think Faryl is the most talented but I'm expecting Escala to win it.

I hope they do win...they are absolutely amazing

Putting Cheeky Monkies through instead of Flava wasn't inexplicable, at least not to me - I enjoyed their performance more. However, I agree that Craig Harper was better than Nemesis.

Sorry to the fans, but I don't feel they should win at all. People are acting like they are the best violinists in Britain; which I doubt. Don't get me wrong; they are really good, but they don't really deserve it. They've already got an official entertainment contract and even their own professional website (www.escalamusic.com)! I don't think they deserve to win, because they've spent loads on their talent and instruments, and I'm sure they get paid alot of money to tour, and after today I bet they will get offered more and more gigs. I didn't mind them winning, but after learning they are professionals having their own website, fansite and learning they even toured with McFly (who are quite big nowadays)...I just don't feel it would be going towards the cause...

If it actually IS down to votes Escala won't win. I can't imagine people wanting to vote for them.
