Love them, but i hope its GEORGEEEE!

They don't have anywhere near as much popular appeal as Faryl or George, possibly even Kate and Gin to win it.

The fact that they are being marketed on the show as a bunch of undiscovered lounge musicians when in fact they are all professionals two of which have had record deals and as a group have supported mcfly proves to me that the 'fix' is definitely in.

Dont be suprised to see them perform near the start of voting again tonight.”

How can this be a conspiracy if Escala were the final act to perform in the semi-finals??? How did the judges predict that they weren't going to be as good as their first audition and muck it up like the footballer guy + the duo guitar act did????

Escala went through to the finals because the public voted them their favourite act last night. It was not a judges decision like Nemisis were! I very much doubt ITV would ever rig the voting system on a programme like this again for the sake of it's reputation if anything!

If Escala win tonight it will be because they are brilliant! And I for one will be voting for them

Putting Cheeky Monkies through instead of Flava wasn't inexplicable, at least not to me - I enjoyed their performance more. However, I agree that Craig Harper was better than Nemesis.”

I agree. I enjoyed Cheeky monkeys + Craig Harper's performance better too.

All the McFly fans will as one of them is going out with Harry the drummer- Altho do teenies still not like their idols having boy-friends?

Without taking anything away from the fact that eScala are extremely talented, the whole scenario really does smack of 'product placement' yet again, as is so common with Simon Cowell.

He's known them on the scene for a while and no doubt they very happily fit the criteria to be on the Royal Variety Performance that he requires to make BGT credible.

Faryl Smith is going to gain a successful career as Simon is championing her, but he knows that her time will come and that she will earn a place on the Royal Variety off her own merits. For her, BGT is just a stepping stone to being a star and Simon knows it. He won't worry about her not winning.

I'm not sure really.
You could be right, but I've seen about 4 or 5 acts which have all enjoyed their own hype at one point or another.

But here they're all in the final. So i think it's a matter of seeing where the wind blows on the night and see if Simon's support is suddenly directed at anybody in particular.

You make fair points, but I would have thought you could say that George Sampson could equally be seen as a favoured winner?

Or Faryl?

Or who knows, it's been a while now, but we may see a sudden resurgence of judges support for Andrew Johnston?

I think Simon would be very happy if any of that 4 win on the night. He's got them all there in the final so I doubt it really matters which one comes top. He's got his top 4 choices in there so he wins whoever of that 4 wins.

Personally I think George Sampson is going to win. No expense was spared in his last routine, and I think he's got momentum. I think he'll be a popular winner too. No complaints from me there really.

I'd like Strike to win, but George would be an okay winner.
I also like Nemisis too, but I think they have little chance, but they are my second or third favourite along with George.

I don't think Signature have a chance.
I don't think Strike have a chance.
I don't think Andrew Muir has a chance.

Kate and Gin?......I'd absolutely love them to win as a shock result. But in reality I don't think they have much chance either.

Id' say George will win though. He has all the hallmarks of a positive role model. Because I think it has a token message that Simon has appeared to push with a handful of acts so far.....'Hoodies aren't necessarily all bad', 'You are a good representitive of young people today'.

If you notice, Simon has already pushed this shtick several times already with a handful of acts so far. I think it's a theme he has in mind and is this year's fairy tale story.
I believe that's a theme which he wants to promote this year.
So on that basis I think he wants George to win.
Nemisis also fit into that mould, but I think it'll be difficult for them. They have a mountain to climb, but I just don't think they can attain that mainstream appeal that the emotional pull of a hard luck story of a 14 year old can. It's Billy Elliot all over.

I can see Escala as good backups. They represent the quality thing. But they have had no real back story to speak of which tugs on those old heartstrings.

I don't really think Faryl will win in reality though. I just can't see why Simon would really want her to win. I just think it would be pointless for him.

Andrew Johnston is an interesting one though because it feels like ages since we last saw him so we tend to forget how heavily he himself was promoted at the time.
Now he's back it should be interesting to see how that one plays out. Maybe people will suddenly say "Aww yeah, I forgot how much the judges loved him"
I think people have forgotten about him because he isn't as fresh in the mind now after several days.
But on the day of the final who knows? Suddenly he may be right back up there at the top as soon as he performs.

But I think it will be George. I just have a feeling that he ticks so many boxes and I can see more reasons for him winning than any of the others. He's got momentum on his side too, and he is talented.

But we don't really know that do we?

I found it hard to believe that so many people found Leon from X Factor popular. But apparently he won the public vote comfortably for weeks.

I think sometimes we can be blind to these things even though we think we know something it doesn't always turn out to be how we saw it in reality.

I didnt say conspiracy i said that a large amount of social enginering has been involved in the production of the shows with a view to the favoured acts of the producers/judges making it to the final.

The BS story of them only playing at weddings and parties has been used again tonight in their intro.

If there is nothing to hide then why not mention the professional website, career, tours and record contracts then eh?

Signature to win!!!

Please!!!!!!!!

Voted these to win.. beauty with fiddles between the legs!

Talented.... Very
George same routine.
We don't want the same as last year, plus by SC face, she has awaiting record deal all sorted anyway.

This lot need our votes, most deserving also.

Now, I want Escala to win. None of tonight's acts were outstanding, more underwhelming, but I prefered their performance than any of the others. And it displays talent that we haven't really seen that much on a very mainstream talent show.

I really want them to win. They are clearly the most talented (imo) and they put on the best performance tonight. It was fantastic.

They were 'readied' for this befoore the show started - all the props and butts and ifs - it's them or Faryl ...Simon's 'pets' ...sadly...

I wanted Signature - the most original and NO sob story.
