Most of all escala have the earnings potential in the album market which Simon Cowell is dying to exploit.
The fact that they are being marketed on the show as a bunch of undiscovered lounge musicians when in fact they are all professionals two of which have had record deals and as a group have supported mcfly proves to me that the 'fix' is definitely in.
Dont be suprised to see them perform near the start of voting again tonight.”
I'm not sure really.
You could be right, but I've seen about 4 or 5 acts which have all enjoyed their own hype at one point or another.
But here they're all in the final. So i think it's a matter of seeing where the wind blows on the night and see if Simon's support is suddenly directed at anybody in particular.
You make fair points, but I would have thought you could say that George Sampson could equally be seen as a favoured winner?
Or Faryl?
Or who knows, it's been a while now, but we may see a sudden resurgence of judges support for Andrew Johnston?
I think Simon would be very happy if any of that 4 win on the night. He's got them all there in the final so I doubt it really matters which one comes top. He's got his top 4 choices in there so he wins whoever of that 4 wins.
Personally I think George Sampson is going to win. No expense was spared in his last routine, and I think he's got momentum. I think he'll be a popular winner too. No complaints from me there really.
I'd like Strike to win, but George would be an okay winner.
I also like Nemisis too, but I think they have little chance, but they are my second or third favourite along with George.
I don't think Signature have a chance.
I don't think Strike have a chance.
I don't think Andrew Muir has a chance.
Kate and Gin?......I'd absolutely love them to win as a shock result.

But in reality I don't think they have much chance either.
Id' say George will win though. He has all the hallmarks of a positive role model. Because I think it has a token message that Simon has appeared to push with a handful of acts so far.....
'Hoodies aren't necessarily all bad', 'You are a good representitive of young people today'.
If you notice, Simon has already pushed this shtick several times already with a handful of acts so far. I think it's a theme he has in mind and is this year's fairy tale story.
I believe that's a theme which he wants to promote this year.
So on that basis I think he wants George to win.
Nemisis also fit into that mould, but I think it'll be difficult for them. They have a mountain to climb, but I just don't think they can attain that mainstream appeal that the emotional pull of a hard luck story of a 14 year old can. It's Billy Elliot all over.
I can see Escala as good backups. They represent the quality thing. But they have had no real back story to speak of which tugs on those old heartstrings.
I don't really think Faryl will win in reality though. I just can't see why Simon would really want her to win. I just think it would be pointless for him.
Andrew Johnston is an interesting one though because it feels like ages since we last saw him so we tend to forget how heavily he himself was promoted at the time.
Now he's back it should be interesting to see how that one plays out. Maybe people will suddenly say "Aww yeah, I forgot how much the judges loved him"

I think people have forgotten about him because he isn't as fresh in the mind now after several days.
But on the day of the final who knows? Suddenly he may be right back up there at the top as soon as he performs.
But I think it will be George. I just have a feeling that he ticks so many boxes and I can see more reasons for him winning than any of the others. He's got momentum on his side too, and he is talented.
