Well it's pretty obvious that they are. What's your point? If they are profressionals, doesn't make them any less talented.

Yes... and somehow is being pushed aside - I don't want them to win but, sadly, they and Faryl are pushed forward by the show.... cause Simon can make money out of them...

So? It's not like they're breaking any rules, BGT is open to professionals or amateurs. Craig whoever is a professional, would you be making this much of a fuss if he got through?

Oh God, do i need to spell this out for you

If they where presented as pros i would have no issue - i actually like escala - but they are not. They are being presented as a group that play at parties and weddings etc and thats it - thats dishonest and a bit of a hustle.

But it's not dishonest. If they do play at parties and weddings, then they aren't lying at all! It's not like they are saying that aren't pros at all, because that isn't the case. I see your point that they might not specifically say they are pros so that they come across as hard-working, for the sympathy vote etc... but then that's implying that you don't think that professionals aren't hard working, or don't deserve to be on the show for being professionals, but I disagree because regardless, they are still talented and this is what this show is about. Am I right? Or am I just over analysing?

And it annoys me when people assume that people think are just given an instrument and then just play. Obviously, you must be trained to play in a quartet with such hard pieces to follow, etc... I play a stringed instrument too.

Yeah, I generally agree with this all being in the work of Cowell though. I think he is the one who obviously controls what is going on, no doubt.

As some people have mentioned, Escala are very similar
to 'Bond' in that they are an all female electric string
quartet, but then again there are a million singers in the
world all singing the same songs.

'Bond' performing Allegretto live:

This is the same piece of music that Escala use.

Is the perfomance/act too similar?

I think Esacala are great, and if they win, good luck to them. However, I bet "Bond" are seething when they hear people like Mr 'thickness' Morgan saying unique and original. Cowell saying how they can represent Britain the world over - Bond, same line up, same music, sexier players, have been representing Britain the world over with this stuff for years!

I'd love them to win over another singer. Mind, they've been bigging up George, Faryl and Andrew the most on ITV2 so far.

I'm more surprised Faryl wasn't in the top 3 to be honest. Since they were all for George, Andrew and Faryl on ITV2 and barely a word on Escala I sort of figured they wouldn't get it.
