Nearly everyone has said that Faryl is going to win, but i dont understand why?

IMO i dont think a singer should win! they can go on the Xfactor... and i also dont like Faryl or Andrew! But there talent is about the same! Andrew has the better sob story so why is Faryl going to win?

I know he's been bullied and that, but he's a bit of a wet blanket

She's better, more talented and doesn't just have the natural voice but appears to have worked on it.

The other thing, she has more longevity. There is a bigger market for her type of a voice so more fans out there. She is singing a better song tonight. So practically, all things point in her direction.

Escala will win so these two can forget it.

Cowell has already chosen the winner. Not that they don't deserve to win they are certainly classy.

Andrew Johnston was not confident in the semi finals whereas Faryl is not phased by it at all despite her 12 years.

I hope Andrew does a great performance on the night and Faryl too but their chances of winning are zero.

I think Faryl will beat Andrew because she is much better, Simon loves her and has probably signed her up. Also, I don't think the public fall for sob story's as much now, I was suprised that Madonna's sob story didn't help her yesterday!

I think Faryl has got a good chance of winning. I won't be voting for her, but I think she has got the better voice.

If you are that certain, why don't you put a big wager on it and treble up your money.

Andrew J isn't that good IMO. He sounds average and once his voice breaks the act will end. I didn't see Faryl's audition but knew of the hype around her , but once I heard her in the semi final I was really surprised , her voice is really mature. I mean if you heard that on the radio you could assume it was a 30 year old singing.


She is miles ahead of him in terms of talent.

Maybe people think Faryl will be more endearing since she doesn't have a sob story. Well, she has the story about her dad being really proud of her, but that's not really a sob story, is it? It's the sort of thing that would probably make someone smile. Maybe in their opinions she has the better voice too.

I hope Faryl does well tonight though, and Andrew. The last night Faryl sang she sounded a bit low, maybe it was the way the mic was tilted or some other technical issue but I couldn't hear her very well.

Andrew's singing is more mature. Faryl is just a girl with a nice voice. Her semi final / audition performances bored me, mainly the audition, because she didn't do anything to acknowledge basic things such as lyrics, line sense, phrasing, natural flow of the accents in bars, etc - almost as though she didn't understand what she was singing, she was just singing it. To consider her seriously she would need to work on these which are all aspects which are present already in Andrew's singing (and his voice is currently the equal of Faryl's).

Also, when Andrew's voice breaks the only thing that will end is his career as a chorister, if he wants it, he'll be able to get a career as a singer when his voice has broken.

But his act on BGT is based on being a choirboy , surely he can't keep that up when his voice breaks? I still don't think he's very good.

TBH I don't think a classical/opera singer will win this year there are other amazing talents...Faryl and Andrew are equally good but if one of them wins I think it's wrong this show is about variety we've had a singer win, Let someone else have a chance ain't it!

I think Escala win win outright to silence the only singers win critics, but will still give Simon the option to sell records.

The reason Faryl will win out over Andrew though is Andrew sadly only has at best a year left of singing. Also I have heard Faryl was pulled from the show by her Dad the other day but Simon stepped in and made lots of promises???

Because Faryl is a better singer, she has a longer future in the business, she has a nice personality and she actually smiles and looks like she is enjoying it. Andrew stands their with zero charisma looking like someone is standing behind him with a gun to his head shaking like a leaf like a rabbit in the headlights. He is not enjoying it so why the hell is he there (mum and dad I suspect). I hope Scala win, my favorite is Kate & Gin but I know they have no chance.

I actually think Escala will win, but to answer your question - because I find Faryl to be the better singer. She has far more confidence and looks like she is enjoying herself, whereas Andrew looks absolutely terrified.
