Proper HI-FIDELITY Sound System using IPOD
Hi there, has anyone actually acheived this?
I have the new 160GIG and encoding everything at lossless quality, what's the best option for hi-fi, i already have the intempo tower, but although it blows away the Bose Sounddock which i thought was terrible its not quite hi-fi. any ideas? i was thinking of the Roth MC4 |

don't get anything "made for iPOd"
Lossless is good...but just get a decent amp & speakers from a real hifi shop. |

There are a number of high-end docks out now that can bypass the iPod's analogue output and and access the digital stream instead.
These cost anything between £400 to £1500 and are for people who want to get serious sound quality out of their ipod using a hi-fi costing at least a few thousand pounds. |
