Yes, there's two parts, one at 18:50 and the other at 21:30. Beyond that, I don't know much more, like whether or not they eliminate some acts halfway through and have a second stage of voting.

They should announce the top 3 and then open the lines for an extra 10 mins or so IMO. Makes it more fair.

You're probably right as the second part of the show lasts for a whole half an hour so they must be doing something in it other than announcing the winner.

Do you think they'll get the final three to perform again? I'm thinking probably not as it would be a bit tight for time.

I thought they might have got Paul Potts back to perform (and promote the next album )but i've had a look on his website and he's in Denmark at the moment.

No, it's very unlikely they will.

They hopefully will either announce the three acts who received the most votes OR they could eliminate seven acts until there's three left. A bit harsh, but at least there's no hints as to who was currently in the lead.

Then they could re-open the three phone lines for the three contestants and give a final reminder. A brief chat to each contestant and the judges before closing the lines for the final time and announcing the winner.

Simon picked today in the paper his top 5 so I wonder if they will do something with the top 5??

Sounds reasonable. Normally in this sort of thing they don't start the votes of the remaining acts down to zero for the second stage but just add to their existing vote totals, don't they?

I think he said that before the fifth semi-final as Escala weren't on his Top 5 list.

Oh no, they couldn't and wouldn't be allowed to do that. Otherwise, people would have been throwing money down the drain basically.
