With a certain risk of counting my chickens before they are hatched, at the end of this evening I fully expect Sam to be crowned as Nancy.

It is possible that if she does not win then supporters of the other contenders might go "over the top". They might even gloat a little bit or say "I told you so".

However, if "our girl" wins might I suggest that we celebrate in the manner most befitting of our icon. The may in which she conducts herself in interviews. And this is with understated modesty.
