Sams downfall

I think the panel and ALW were responsible for Sam being third.
They favoured her every time put her on a pedestal and maybe the GBP got fed up with thier sam adoration.

i agree if they didn't have a faverate then the competition would have been fair but the GBP get annoyed when one act gets better comments every week

Probably. My personal problem with Sam however was that I just couldn't warm to her. I tried, but she just lacked that something needed to reel me in. But she was overhyped by the panel, I think. She's talented but not exceptional and although it will sound like jealously, I do think her looks got her as far as she did more than some of her performences.

Yes, i think you're right, they kept praising her for performances that weren't that good (Survivor, especially) and had any of the other girls did it they would have been criticised. And she didn't have a connection in her Oliver duet performance like Jessie and Jodie did

She was martyred for Jessie but it didn't pay off.
