Does anyone wanna swap tickets with me?

Well that's £92 in the bank, not £150.

Disappointed for me visit in December.

The public are eejits. It's no accident that both ALW and CM unanimously saw Jessie as fitting the bill.

Oh well.

Well done Jodie.

BOLLOCKS.

I wouldn't want to see Jodie either. Slick, perfected and right on key every time she may be, but this doesn't make your hairs stand on end, in the intimacy of a theatre I want uniqiue, raw stage presence, and this is what Jessie had

My sentiments entirely - Jessie's cockney accent on that VT shown near the end shows exactly why she shouldn't be Nancy.

There is no doubt she is talented and I'm sure ALW & CM will find a role for her PDQ but for me she never was Nancy

Won it on sympathy vote. Terrible winner. Leon Jackson, Michelle Mcmanus, Jodie whatsherface.

Sympathy for what?

I think she more likely won it on a 'public being pissed off with being told who to vote for' vote.

I don't think it was a sympathy vote. I think she fit the 'buxom tart with a heart' Nancy that the public had in mind from the start.

Jessie pulled it out of the bag tonight. She was fricking AMAZING. But Jodie already had an army of fans who wanted a traditional Nancy. And Cameron's extraordinarily unprofessional bias also ensured some additional 'underdog' voting for Jodie.

Jessie was superb tonight but Jodie has had more consistent performances. As a Jodie fan, Jessie was so good tonight I could almost have coped if she had won.

Congratulations to them both. I think Jessie will have a successful career too.

Jessie is probably thinking 'wtf' especially as she got all the praise, is the star and did the best performances.

ALW and CM have always said so from the start. And she is in my mind. She pulled a blinder tonight and it's v.unfortunate that she didn't win.

ern not being funny, but 1 night out off all these weeks just isn't enough. Jessie lacks consistency.

I'm dubious about booking tickets as it's not for definite that Jodie will only do 4 shows. She may turn out great in the rehersals. I want to see Jessie and don't wanna book til it's clear whats going on with what nights etc.

Usually the "favourite" is the favourite because they are talented

I thought CM had only voiced an opinion in the last two weeks. Shame that their blatant favouritism backfired in the end but that's seemingly a risk they were prepared to take.

Tbh if I hadn't already bought tickets, I wouldn't be buying them now.

If there is another series of this, pity the unsuitable public favourite. S/he will be annihilated from every angle from the getgo to avoid another shambles like this result.

I know Jodie fans will see this as nothing more than sour grapes, but it's not a question of grapes, it's a question of aesthetic judgment.

Really good post. It's nice when fans can recognise other performers.

You're right: Jessie may have been great tonight, but as Denise said, throughout the entire series it's been Jodie who's had the highest standards.

She'd never blown me away (until right at the end there), but I think that's the panels fault, I honest think they've been keeping her down a bit. Look at the difference between the restrained and poor (for me) ALAHNM she did first, and then that great ending. THAT's the Jodie that deserves it, and I think that now the role is her, she should blossom brilliantly, unless Cameron fouls it up by being bitter about it.

Jessie was great while she stood still or like tonight had a stool to sit on, but she was useless when singing while dancing.

Jodie was consistent and she improved over the weeks, however I dont think she was the best there ALW got shot of some really talented girls and IMO that was to make way for Jessie 'the raw talent I do feel sorry for him he got it soooooo wrong this year
