Im made up Jodie won, she was consistently very good or brilliant every week. Jessie had a couple of really good few performances singing wise but i didnt rate her acting skills and her dancing wasnt great either.
Also there was just something about her that made her unlikeable, she came across to me as being quite arrogant and above everyone else. Jodie was more convincing in conveying the emotions, words and meanings of the songs way better than Jessie did. |

CM said 'Jessie is Nancy' and when Jodie's contract is done, he'll get the Nancy he wanted.

Devasting result. Have not always been pro Jessie but tonight she outperformed Sam and Jodie on every song. I felt sure the GBP could see that too. Obviously not. Not to worry. Its only a matter of time before we see Jessie's name up in lights.
Sorry but I won't be paying to see Jodie. She is NOT Nancy. |

I honestly don't know now. I'm questioning it, although I've always backed Jodie. Rather confused about it! |

I think the public chose the 'safe, likeable' option and she probably won over alot of people with her exubarent personality and the fact she's an everyday, working class sorta girl.
But it was no doubt the wrong decision, perhaps if Aslong As He Needs Me had been sung earlier in the evening it might have affected the results a little, because Jessie absolutely wiped the floor with Jodie, anyone who couldn't see that is probably a mug. Jodie was probably the most consistent in the competition, I'm pleased for her, but I shant be paying for a ticket to Oliver like I would have if the much more memorable girl had won. Still, have a sneaking feeling that a year from now it could all be very different. I'll be astounded if Jessie isn't doing at least some performances of Oliver, or at least another big role. |

Jessie outsung Jodie all night.
In the end Jodie was always going to win because the panel have been on her side the past few weeks. Jessie was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much better tonight.

Wrong result, the part was Jessie's. Most of the people who voted for Jodie, have probably never been near a theatre and certainly won't be going to London to see her.
Go Jessie, you'll be the biggest star with Cameron and Andrew on your side. |

on the night, it was an absolute travesty. Jessie made Jodie look very average.
But over the strength of the whole series, it's less black & white. I still think Rachel was the strongest overall candidate, but Jodie close behind. |

I am a Rachel fan through and through but delighted that Jodie won, however I do think that Jessie outsang her tonight. But I don't think Jessie would give that performance every night.

Jodie is certainly the one I'll be happier to go and see. Too many doubts about Jessie still - she has problems with moving, her accent and acting. Is it little wonder they put out that 'only doing 4 shows a week thing?' when you've got that much uncertainty surrounding the potential actress?
Jodie's ALAHNM was superior in my opinion because she got the emotion across much better and more realistically. Jessie felt very 'staged'. I also felt that it suited the tone of Jodie's voice more. Jessie is good but she needs a lot of polishing still and I don't think taking a West End lead is really the best place to be doing that. |

Gutted!
For once I am speechless and gutted! I can't believe it. I have always had tremendous faith in the great British public - until now! It was clear to me tonight that the gorgeous Jessie was miles ahead on performance most weeks and even further ahead tonight - a mega star if ever there was one. Mackintosh will lose out by this outcome. Jessie would have filled the theatre.
BGT has lost four better acts for the Royal show including the cheeky monkeys and the cheeky dog ![]()

Thrilled that Jodie won. I think Jessie was better tonight but Jodie over the whole series. I'm sure that Jessie will have a fab career too. Congratulations to them both for a fabulous show.

Jessie was robbed, unfortunately people voted for Jodie because of her personality and to get one over on Cameron and ALW. Jessie totally outsung Jodie on the night and deserved to win.

Wrong result IMO - it came down to a choice between a consistently good performer and a sometimes spectacular, sometimes good performer.
On the night, Jessie was superior, and was at various points throughout the series. However Jodie will play the part well and good luck to her. |

Made-up for two reasons - me and the father picked out Jodie and Jessie as the final two in the second show
feeling very smug now.I've loved Jodie all the way through - Send in the Clowns was fantastic! Couldn't be happier she's in the role. Jessie was fab tonight but her awkwardness in movement and her inability to take criticism have put me off through the series. She completely deserves her own show, with a little work. |

I'm thrilled that Jodie won - I thought she was terrific. Jessie was better tonight than other weeks but, as others have said, she wasn't consistent. I've no doubt she'll get a role in another of ALW's shows as will Samantha and some of the other Nancys.
Obviously the public liked Jodie too or she wouldn't have won. I'm a bit surprised at some of the negative comments about her on here. |

Not a good result. I wanted to see a west end production. Not a pantomime, the thing it will now be.
Jodie was not good in her efforts of as long as he needs me. I was left feeling WTF. It didn't move me at all. Consistency is one thing, but I feel that Jessie would have made a much more convincing Nancy. Loved her singing as long as he needs me. |

Thank god the GBP got it right. Couldn't have stood the tension if Jessie had got through. JB got it right - the rest of the cast have to have faith in your consistency. They wouldn't have had that if Jesie had got through.

Anybody who says she can't act after seeing her sing ALAHNM....I give up. |
