I knew it wasn't aiming at me, but I wanted to wipe the slate clean, so that I wasn't seen as a person who was slating him just for the sake of it. Now of course doing his dancing takes a lot of time and skill, but I do find it annoying when people come up to me and say "I'd like to see you do it". Well, I could easily say that to you, you know what I mean. Like there are things that I do and others do that I appreciate. It might not come across, but I do.

Yup, I cringe at the thought of what the Americans etc think of who we vote for. Having said that, America's got talent starts on Friday and if there was a show last year I didn't watch it so I'll be interested to see who they vote for. Somehow I think they'll get it right - they usually do on shows such as American Idol etc.

Having thought about it again though, at least George has one thing in his favour - he is slightly more talented than Leon was/is.

I'm sure everybody noticed Simon Cowells quote earlier in the show "there will be a surprise result tonight" but what we got was a ridiculous result could it be that Simon has already signed Faryl Smith and Escala and wanted to keep them out of what can only be called a mediocre show the Royal Boring Performance for snobby farts

Exactly. He done nothing that the majority of other breakdancers did.

Oh, except have a decent sob story.

Yeah I know what you mean. But I do feel some people maybe not in this particular thread, but on quite a few others, have been unnecessarily mean about him eg. calling him a brat and stuff.

Don't think he wants to keep them out of that show as its great exposure but I'm 100% with you that he'll sign both of them.

I think the expression is 'damning with faint praise'.

Plus don't be surprised if Andrew Johnson makes a guest appearance on BOTH albums.

Whilst I am not going to overly criticise a child, he was in no way the best act in the final and I was shocked that he won.

A number of acts were FAR more deserving of the prize than this young man.

I won't be watching again and just wish I hadn't invested a couple of hours of my time tonight in doing so.

(OH agrees)

Yes have to agree it's a bit of exposure but i'm sure with Simon Cowells power and persuasion there will be other ways, America for example where he walks on water

The most suitable acts for Charlie would have been Faryl and Escala.

I think its well past your bedtime young man; either that or you never really did gain any maturity or common sense when you grew up

I don't really like your obnoxious summation of the other contestants and, whilst not moaning, just wanted to comment on the ignorant persona you seem to be displaying here tonight. Well done for that.

And Prince Charles will be impressed, he is incredibly supportive of our young people and this is right up his street I reckon!!”

What is it with DS and class?!

Class has NOTHING to do with it. It is just in some people's opinion George was one of the least talented finalists so for him to win against other more talented finalists is a big shock.

At the end of the day.

Kate and Gin - repetative and very limited act Plus Kate is complete drip who needs to get a personality as her dog outshines her in every way.

Faryl Smith - Meh. Will get signed anyway so why get upset?

Escala - Ditto above, except Bond - who have been doing the same act for years are way better.

Nemisis - One of the best acts - just need to polish it up a bit.

Andrew Johnstone - better than Faryl but would have been boring if he won. Will also probably get signed.

Cheeky Monkeys - meh.

Strike - good but very out of sync tonight.

Signature - would have been pleased if they won.

George won, he is fab for his age. He works hard at it. His family will appreciate the money. He is 14 - perhaps people should be ashamed of themselves for what they are saying about him. Utterly disgusting behaviour.

I agree. Though George is a talented dancer I personally didn't think he would win it and go through to the Royal Performance. I would have imagined Faryl, Escala or Andrew would be more suitable for a that. They both had very good voices, and Escala were a talented quartet (lovely too I might add ) and in the words of Simon: "turning classical music on its head".

a nervous girl who doesn't have many friends has millions of people watching her and she has the personality of a "complete drip" with comments like this i'm not suprised she's nervous.

so she isn't talkative, so what? i'd rather have someone like that win than someone arrogant.
