I agree and I certainly wouldn't pay to see her because of it.
Yeah she has a really great voice but thats about it.
She can't act very well...she just seems really wooden and just inconsistent when it comes to acting. I feel quite awkward watching her which isn't really something you'd want when paying to see somone performing as a leading lady in the West End.
She can't take direction very well as we've seen and her movement on stage is quite awful imo...it explains why they had her sitting down every week after she got bad comments on her movement.
I'm sure she'll get better with training but I think she'll need a lot of hard work but I don't think she's anywhere near ready for the role of Nancy or any acting role really.
She's still quite young though so theres plenty of time to improve. I think maybe in 6 months she will have gotten better but still got enough to take on the role of Nancy and I think it would have been pretty hit and miss as to whether she'd be any good or not if she had won.
Jodie on the other hand has it all, she is an amazing singer and the emotion really comes through when she performs. When you watch her you really believe in what she is singing.
From what we've seen she is a great actress and she has a brilliant stage presence she just commands it...6 months down the line when the show opens she's going to be even more incredible than she is now which is going to be quite somehting.
