Why are people still having a "pop" at Jessie? She was fantastic tonight and proved that she would have been a worthy Nancy. However, the public preferred Jodie and that's who they will be paying their money to see.

Just because she lost doesn't mean she talentless. I'm pretty sure both ALW and CM will find her something in the future and those who are now saying that she can't act/dance will be forking out serious money to see her do just the opposite.

Jessie is one step away from being another Judy Garland!She has a Fantastic voice...she has been suffering from nerves for some weeks...and with some of the comments thses young women recieve Im not surprised......
She is Fantastic...She has so much going for her and is SO PRETTY.......You go Jessie.

i look for somone with pure emotion somone who feels what they are singing not somone who has the same moves over and over and over again.
1. look above/distance
2. raise arms
3. jerk forward when angry

No you're part of the minority because you don't think she can act. All Jessie fans and most Jodie fans think Jessie was fantastic tonight.

Other people giggled, raised their arms and looked distant tonight. Everybody acts differently and just because you don't like a person's acting doesn't mean they can't do it. Jessie has something that a lot of people find captivating. None of the others had this but the advantage they had over Jessie was experience.

But they dont do it night after night!!!! i agree that with acting lessons (a lot of) she could be good!

Neither does Jessie. She laughed in TMTGA last week's song and this week's. That's it. I think that other people had just as many repetitive habits but since the panel were kind enough to point out only Jessie's that's all people focus on.

she has done it from the start! i liked her at the start and then i started to notice it and it didnt bother me to begin with but the way she started becoming so smug and saying i got to be true to jessie!! no dear we dont want Jessie we want NANCY!

It may sound corny, but last week Jessie said something along the lines of she felt like she was becoming Nancy.

Indeed, CM said as much tonight, "Jessie IS Nancy".

I didn't see much acting from Jessie tonight. All the things that have troubled me about her, the hand-movements, the uncomfortable presence on stage, all of it may have been there, but if it was I didn't see it and I didn't care. Tonight, I was blown away by what I can only describe as pure emotion.

The reason I didn't see 'acting', is because it just looked like Jessie had become Nancy. She'd worked so hard on trying to get into character, that when she walked out on stage, she really was just Nancy, pure and simple.

Astonishing performances tonight, that maybe she couldn't replicate 8 times a week, and maybe Jodie did deserve it for the consistency over the weeks and some good performances of her own tonight, but Jessie tonight left me utterly speechless with quite how wonderful she was. For me, she deserved the role on the basis of that.

Fact is give Jessie a pop song she don't do it well, give her a musical number she blows us all away, Jessie isn't a pop star she's an actress and that's why she should have been Nancy.

She gets critcised for not being able to sing certain styles of songs, but there are very few singers alive who can sing every genre of music going could you see Bob Dylan sing heavy metal or slipknot do I ballad, i think not

Jessie is nothing now!

She's someone who will walk into either a drama school or a leading role in the West End. If she hasn't already.

ALW likes her. That'll get her somewhere. When I say walk I mean she'll get through the auditions easily rather than literally walk in the door.

Congratulations for the most meaningless and ridiculous post of the night. That is quite some achievement.

I wasn't even a Jessie fan coming into tonight, I'm a huge Sarah fan, I thought Rachel was fantastic and I'm delighted for Jodie. But after all she put in and all the talent we saw tonight, anyone not sad for Jessie is lacking some kind of heart.

So has a lot of our greatest musical performers in the past.

I'll be totally and completely fascinated to watch the great and glittering career of Jodie here and on Broadway in the future.
