“'They wore a good deal of hair, not very neatly turned up behind, and were rather untidy about the shoes and stockings. They were not exactly pretty, perhaps; but they had a great deal of colour in their faces, and looked quite stout and healthy. Being remarkably free and easy with their manners, Oliver thought them to be very nice girls indeed. Which there is no doubt they were.”

So this is your thin Nancy? I don't think so some how. As said before do your research.

No that is straight out of the Dickens book. Stop embarrising yourself with your ignorance.

You need to learn how to spell and your sister needs to get some manners.

My sister has manners and I think I made a mistake, my sister didn't say she was to fat she said she was to old, no actually looked to old

Well if CM knew exactly what he wanted why chance it and make leave it up to Joe public to decide - why not just hold an open audition for newcomers. If Jessie had pitched up then surely her potential would have been noted.

I'm sick of ALW bleating on about how the public were voting for the wrong girls. Surely CM and ALW as 2 experienced theatre producers/writers/composers knew there was a risk that the public perception of Nancy was different to theirs.

I've no doubt that if Jessie had been the 'whole' package then she would have won. However she moved around the stage like a labourer on a building site and believe me it's going to take more than 6 months to give that girl grace.

I liked Jodie because she lived up to my vision of Nancy and I'm soooo sorry if that vision didn't match ALW & CMs

Do you really think Jodie would care about what your sister thinks? She WON the show, accept it! How can she be too old when the woman who played Nancy in the film was 35?

You say you are 33 but you argue like a 13 year old. You change your story to fit whatever you want, you ignore facts just because they don't fit what you want, your grasp of the English language is pitiful yet you claim to be an actor (it's too not to) all in all you fail.

Whoa!

I understand that fans of Jessie are disappointed - but you really needn't be. She has a great career ahead of her and, at 18, with no training, is almost certainly not yet ready for the West End. Even ALW alluded to that on the Jonathan Ross show on Friday with his comments about training racehorses.

I'm pretty sure that Jodie fans (I am one of their number) would have bitched like mad if Jessie had won, so I really do understand your disappointment, lady raven. It would just be nice if that disappointment could be channelled into support for your favourite, rather than denigration of the winner.

This is a nice forum when people are nice - let's try it, huh?

I guess I wouldn't feel as bad if people like Jb wouldn't call Jessie inconistent, those comments would be fine on x factor but the fact remains when Jessie sang anything musically realated she was landslide above the others such as last night

Looked to old I said, i think that;s why Cm wanted Rachal cause she was like 26 but could pass for 20 or 21

That's just your opinion though, so this thread slagging off the winner was just because you are feeling petulant?

rubbish - doesn' t matter if she loses weight or not for the role. haqve you never seen the show before?
