As BGT and X Factor are both Cowell's projects wouldn't a singer winning BGT again this year conflict with the purpose and/or objective of X Factor ?
If a singer won again viewers would be moaning oh another singer, isn't that what X Factor's for ? This show (BGT) by comparison may appear to give talented singers a quicker route through to stardom than X Factor with less direct competition in their field and less rounds to go through etc
I'm not saying this is the case but wouldn't it look bad for Cowell overall if a singer had won BGT again this yr ? what would be the point in him having 2 UK shows that both appeared to basically be singing comps ?
Does anyone think the judges or the show itself has some influence over who wins ? Just curious as to what others think!
