Sarah Jane saw the TARDIS and then the Doctor said "Hello Sarah Jane". She had no idea it was him when they first met.

I bet she is a Time Lord, But it would be a bit far-fetched

Not much point in having a Time Lord archeologist!

Actually they would be very handy.

Firstly they would know exactly where to look for buried ruins, having been there when they weren't buried or in fact ruins.

And if they uncovered anything they didn't recognise they could pop back and have a look at it being used, then come forward again and say "Aha, this object was in fact used for removing the stones from the middle of avocados".

Ahh, thanks for that. In that case I'm going back to my original conviction.

Didnt she say "well judging by your face.." (when she was trying to judge what part of his timeline he was from) meaning she has known him over two or more regenerations. Eh?

Yup, I can see Universal and BBC coming to a fine agreement over intellectual rights and copyright and royalties for actor participation.

Yea, right !!

Hello Whobees

I dont normally post in this thread/subforum so sorry for the intrusion, just wanted to say that I thought this ep of Who has been the best of this series yet, in my opinion!

I'm a Who fan of old (Baker/Davidson) and while i can see that the "new" Who is action packed and great saturday eve telly for kids I really do prefer this kind of approach to an episode where there is a real creeping menace to it and its not so much about the big explosions and dashing about.

I love the "base under seige" type format and the part where Donna was trying to cope with the data ghosting was really moving. Great acting from all, I reckon.

The Vashta Nerada reminded me of the creatures from an earlyish ep of Xfiles where M&S were in a cabin in the woods and under threat from microscopic beasties that come out in the dark and consume people

anyway, i'll bugger off back to the Ashes to Ashes threads now

(speaking only as a casual viewer)

Could she be the Doctor himself, a future re-incarnation?

Nah. Unlikely, however not entirely impossible. I'm still actually kind of putting money down on romana.
