Remember how irritatingly "nice" the moderated comments board on the IDA site has been? http://www.bbc.co.uk/oliver/comments.shtml
Well look at it today, there are posts such as:
Benny, Longford 2008-06-01It's an absolute joke that Jessie didn't win... Clearly the most talented girl in the competition the geographics of the situation made it very difficult for her... But why should voting lines be open before we hear any performance at all... Come on BEEB, you should not open lines until we see who sets the standard. This was daylight robbery in my opinion... Although I think Andrew and Cameron think the same...
rc, wales 2008-06-01True talent has lost out to a safe pair of hands - perhaps this is the true reflection of the final results. Such a shame to see Jessie lose!
I know they're not exactly vicious but it does seem in complete contrast to the BBC's earlier stance. A friend of mine didn't get comments published in the first few weeks, he said they were critical of other contestants but in a mannerly way.
