I didn't like this. Gwion, Harry and Laurence also wern't in the performance. I know the song was meant to be about the ones that didn't make it, but I would have liked to see a final group number with all 12 Nancys and Olivers. I still loved the performance, but I just felt it wasn't 'complete'.

What annoyed me was that Sarah is tiny and was pushed to the back of that performance and at one point you couldn't even see her. tut tut lol.

but anyway a performance with the 12 Nancys and Olivers would of been fab!

It would have been nice! But I liked it as it was! Actually it was my fave performance of the night! I read that little Joseph was crying at the end as was almost inconsolable (if that's the right word) Apparently it took two takes!

That's horrible! Bless him if true.

Did't Jessie and Jodie have to charge off and get changed during this performance?

Otherwise, yes, it would have been great to have all of them in it. Sigh.

Ha! And Sam! He was great! They all were!
A touching song for a great final!

There was a performance with all 12 girls and 12 Olivers, at the beginning of the first show. And it was from Oliver, not a pop song! I loved those numbers every week, sort of reminded us that it wasn't X Factor. IMO

I know! But apparently all the Nancies comforted him and Rachel managed to make him stop crying :
"the take that song that the past olivers and nancy's sang was pre recorded after the first show, they rehearsed it first fran seemed to have the giggles a bit on the stairs then they recorded it for real. i'm not sure why but joseph seemed to start crying after the first rehearsal all the girls tryed to comfort him but it was rachel in the end that seemed to sort him out (in a nice sense)."

Never Forget was my favourite performance of the night too (And LOL Julie! I'm glad I'm not the only one who got annoyed at Sarah being at the back... ) It was nice to see everyone back! They all looked amazing

(This is kindof a weird question, but was Tara wearing one of the gold belts from the 'Enough is Enough' performance?)

I don't know whether I'd have preferred the finalists in there - it was more of a tribute to the ones who didn't make it and I think it was quite fitting (though I don't really like the song that much!). It was their last time to shine. They had a group performance of IDA at the beginning anyway

Just had a lil look, and she so was! They've used up their costume budget on all that satin.

And mine! To be honest, the first time I saw it I was so pleased to see Fran back in a group song with Sam, Niamh, and Sarah that I didn't even notice about Jessie and Jodie not being there!

I thought it was nice for the other girls and Olivers to get a song of their own and I loved the song choice. I might have thought differently if Jessie and Jodie had been my favourites, but they weren't - so I wasn't bothered!

What I did find odd - and slightly disappointing - was that the other girls weren't allowed back on the stage at the very end to congratulate Jodie. It seemed to end a bit 'flat' with her and GN just stood there together

I agree! It did seem a bit strange, and noone realy seemed to know what to do, what with Jodie running off and having to be brought back by Graham!

What does the runner-up normally do in these shows? I thought it was horrible seeing Jessie sitting there crying at the end. Really awful to show it.

Me too! Does anyone know why they wern't allowed on? I was all ready for the congratulations, the hugs and the tears - and it just never came! Also, at one point, Graham seemed to try to walk off, but I think Jodie pulled him back - if she hadn't, would she just be standing on the stage alone? It was very strange.

Definitely, wished they almost hadn't shown it.
I was kinda expecting Jodie's parents and her fiance to run on as well as all the Nancys and hug her/lift her up.

It did amuse me that even GN wasn't quite sure what to do, so just kept congratulating her!

I was trying to remember what happened at the end of ADWD. I seem to recall that Keith was pretty much swept to the side once they announced Lee had won, but I can't think what happened at the very end. It did seem to end on much more of a celebratory note though.

Actually did Lee get to do his Close Every Door at the end?

ADWD was a lot cheerier, he sung any dream will do, the judges joined in singing, and the josephs ran on and lifted him
