To name but a few what I have transferred onto DVD:

Sons and Daughters (Complete Series, 972 episodes, on 98 discs). (Plus 3 DVD releases)

Eldorado (Complete Series, 156 episodes, compilation and documentary)

Families (First 100 episodes)

Emmerdale (Episodes from August 1995 onwards, until about 2000), loads of Specials and best episodes since

Spitting Image (90% of the entire series, plus specials which won't be released)

The Chart Show (many editions from 1988-1993)

Taggart (Every episode)

Real Crime (nearly 40 editions)

Gameshow Marathon (both 2005 and 2007)

British Soap Awards (Every year since in started in 1999)

British Comedy Awards (most years apart from 6 editions)

National Television Awards (Every year since it started in 1995)

27 discs of Brookside episodes

Comedy Connections (All but the Geoffrey Perkins Tribute )

Tons of Coronation Street (still loads to transfer) + many specials

Crossroads (1980's, plus some 2001 and 2003 material and specials)

The entire Harry Hill's TV Burp

Series 3 to 5 of Screenwipe

The ITV 50 shows, plus loads of regional specials over the years, and continuity and adverts and idents and stuff

Tiswas (5 editions)

Never the Twain (All but 1 episode)

The BBC4 on trial seasons

Prisoner Cell Block H

some Schools programmes

plus lots of one off shows such as docuemtaires, dramas, comedies etc.

Collected stufff for about 25 years, and put much of it onto DVD.

Plus I also have hundreds of editions of TV Times from 1955-1980 on disc, they're great to look back through
Very interesting that you have 5 editions of Tiswas as only a few episodes exist in the tv archives .Nearly all episodes were wiped. The missing episodes organisations would be very interested in what you have if you wanted to help ?

Life in Mars.

The TV version has many different (and IMHO more appropriate) music tracks to the DVD releases.

I've got episode of The Grand with Susam Hampshire, Tim Healy and Jane Danson on tape. I love it - sort of an Upstairs, Downstairs in a grand hotel. They've released it on Region 1 DVD and it's available in the States, but there isn't a Region 2/UK release even though it's a British show!

I've also got Staying Alive on tape, a drama about student nurses, which starred Jessica Hine (Stevenson) and Sophie Okonedo. I would get it the DVDs if they available.

So underrated

I used to tape things a lot nefore DVD box sets came out. I still have a few shows on VHS/recordable DVD but at least I am not as obsessive as some on here. Thats makes me feel better.

Currently recording FX the Series season 2 which I have never seen.

Thats an impressive list. I wish I had access to equipment to transfer my VHS to a PC (I have a recordable DVD but its unreliable).

YOu gave me an idea for some magazines I have. I am going to scan them onto PC and ditch the magazines as they are too heavy and take up too much space.

In terms of stuff still not available to buy on dvd,Cagney And Lacey and The Trials Of Rosie O'Neil, and NY-LON (don't think that ever came out) are the ones that immediately spring to mind.

Does anyone have,or can tell me where to get,the third and final season of Once And Again as I've only ever seen one and two-season three only ever aired here once on ABC1 when it was freeview only and I wasn't able to record it at the time and consequently have still never seen it as the scheduled dvd release was cancelled!

There could be an interesting spin-off series here:- TV Series you really wish you had videod.

1) The Great Egg Race, with Professor Heinz Wolf
2) That sitcom with Caroline Quentin as a solicitor, Amanda Holden as a dim secretary.

Cheers: every single episode - first run from Channel 4.

Just Good Friends (including Christmas special): every episode, some from the first run.

Beverly Hills 90210: every episode. Some from Sky1, some from Channel 5 and some from Fox US.

Remington Steele : every episode. Some from Bravo, some from NBC's first run.

I really wish I'd persisted with my Moonlighting collection but I taped over some of them (after Maddie and David 'did it')

Does anyone have any Holby City episodes centered around the 'keller killer' storyline from around 2003/2004? PM me if so

When I was about 13 I taped Prisoner: Cell Block H and Crapston Villas. In my later teens I eventually gave in to all the stuff about Prisoner being crap from my family and the mainstream media...and chucked out the tapes. Along with them went Crapton Villas (on the same tapes) and anything else that was cool and offbeat at the time (I had some episodes of The Word, Eurotrash and The Girly Show)

Later I realised I shouldn't have bowed to pressure. We all like our own things. We are all individuals. If someone doesn't like something they just don't get it. Oh well, I'v got the DVDs now.

I also taped South Park from channel 4. South Park on c4 was often introduced with a channel 4 South Park ident. And they even had a South Park theme night. On the same tapes I had Jam by Chris Morris and adult animation from channel 4's animation week. But have since taped over them or chucked them out. I wouldn't have done that if I knew the channel, 4 would later become. If only I knew channel 4 where going to turn in to such a crap channel I would have kept South Park and showed people "Look, channel 4 used to be good!"

I also taped Oz (an HBO prison drama) and Eurotica!, both from 4later and with cool 4later idents. I still have them on tape!
