"aaaand that's a wrap!"

This jammy dodger got in (a poster from The Internet Forum) and said:

Didn't manage to get into the studio, but got into the party afterwards. Jodie does look fantastic in the flesh, television doesn't do her any favours.

Unfair!

Someone else said:

My sources tell me that at the after party tell me that the Humphries clan were very unimpressed with the result, and made it pretty clear. They also tell me that Jodie, with her new found fame, wants to continue with her weight loss business that she was starting just before IDA started (this is the first I've heard of it?) - as well as doing the Nancy roll - while very commendable, this woman must really like working 25 hours a day. The whole party ended pretty early, but there was lots of free champagne, and the Olivers weren't allowed in, which seems mean.. Oh, and aparently Lewis is the nicest person ever

Does anybody else know anything about it?
Oh to be a fly on the wall at that!

Gawd, how would you feel if you were Jessie and you had to go to that and have everyone coming up to you saying 'bad luck' and seeing Jodie having her night.
Poor chicken

Probably the same as the rest of the girls felt.

I thought that last night - when she got told by Graham to "go and get a hug from her family"

Arguably, it'd be worst for Jessie I think - all the others never had a 50% chance of becoming Nancy (I know not literally, but you know what I mean) - Graham need only have said her name and it would all have been so different (you could say that about many situations, but still). I think the only person who could possibly have felt that bad was Sam, but she seemed genuinely pleased with the outcome, and TBF I think I'd rather have been in Sam's position than Jessie's - easier on the nerves!

Also, having been told by 3 judges that the role was "hers" she thought she had it in the bag - you could see by her face. So she would have had a bigger let down that the others. Also they've had some time to distance themselves from it (apart from Sam of course).

Well I'm sure that Jessie would have been far more gracious then a lot of people are being on here. I'm guessing that a lot of Jessie's tears were a knee jerk reaction to the tension of the moment in the same way as Jodie's screaming was. Of course she would have been dissapointed but she will know that a lot of doors have been opened for her so I don't think she'll be crying for too long.

I think she did well to hold it together until she went over to her family She was fighting it for her life till she got off the stage showed great courage and to take a curtsey bless her.

I think Graham let her go to her family because he knew she was going to crack and it's not so humiliating. I think it was a sensible decision. Sam deserves credit too - she took it on board really maturely.

I honestly think there will be no losers in this and, for that reason, quite why people are getting so uptight I just don't know. I'm sure Jessie will be phenomenal in whatever part she gets and she will get access to amazing training now - rather than feeling upset at having been turned down by a couple of drama schools. Just look at Tara......and she wasn't anywhere near as talented in her singing as Jessie.

Agreed, there would probably have been people going up to Jessie (and maybe Sam) last night saying things like "well done on coming so far" etc, which can't have really been helpful. I felt sorry for Jessie last night, I know there could only be one winner and all, but I didn't like seeing her crying with her family and I think she thought she'd win it as well, after being told by three judges that she was Nancy. At least Sam left with a smile and didn't seem too upset.

Regarding the wrap party, does anyone know if we'll get pictures? I'd like to see them.

Jessie probably did think she had it in the bag after a night of glorious praise.
Hmm, feel so sorry for her, so close yet so far. Perhaps the beeb shouldn't have panned to her weeping. Don't know about the others but it didn't make me feel good!

Yeah, it was hard to watch I do feel that her not winning was the best for her though...of course she won't see that now, but it is only the beginning, she has such a great future ahead of her.

I thought she handled being voted out at that stage extremely admirably considering her age, and how close she came. I think she was genuinely pleased that she learnt (cliche) so much about her herself, it didn't matter to her that she didn't win (or it didn't seem to matter).

I have it from a very good source that there was indeed a "heated discussion" between JB and Jessie's dad.
