but this IS not the work place and he and Jessie are not work colleagues. He is judging her performance and his comments were no worse than any other realty show.

As a co-star, which is how I think John sees his role, consistency is more important than flashes of brilliance. All he's said about Jessie since the competition is that he doesn't think she's ready for the West End, not that she's rubbish.”

As I've said on another thread, I didn't think she was any more inconsistent than either Rachel or Sam. And I don't see in what way Sam was more focused than Jessie.

Exactly, she had one bad performance of a bad song. all the girls had bad performanes.

JB just kept saying inconsistent as his other criticisms weren't working.

Thank goodness others have posted as I was a bit slow in understanding this post LOL!

For me Jessie was one of the best singers, but she didn't always look comfortable when she was singing. I still think her first 'Man that got Away' was the performance of the series and I would have like her or Rachel to have won if Jodie hadn't.

Jessie is a theatrical performer and not a pop star - big difference.

If you discard the pop songs that Jessie performed we're left with the MT numbers. With every single one of these songs she gave a consistant performance throughout the competition whether it was as a solo or group number. Whenever she performed wearing her Nancy costume her theatrical persona came to the fore and she ceased to be the awkward teenager that JB dislikes. Her movement was far more fluent and alot of the so called Jessieisums disappeared. So it's no wonder that her TS and ALAHNM were near perfect because for once she was allowed to perform in character and not as herself trying to interpret a pop song.

What this all has to do with the Wrap Party is beyond me at this time of night

This will be my last post about this on here - as much as I love Jessie you are clearly looking through rose tinted spectacles and I'm beginning to wonder if you are related to her or a close family friend.

The link with the wrap party is 'crossed the line from my earlier post' - someone then linked linked that to fish and then you get to my post.

*Trying to keep on thread*
Bet the girls really let their hair down, hope they did anyway
They probably couldn't drink during the show, well at least not very much, cus it's tough on the vocal chords.
Doubt we'd see any pics from it and I guess that's a good thing because they probably still want to remain fairly private and not have paps snapping at them every second!

Didn't manage to get into the studio, but got into the party afterwards. Jodie does look fantastic in the flesh, television doesn't do her any favours.

Unfair!
”

That was me, what I meant was that she looks great in the flesh, but TV puts a few pounds on her.
