I'm looking for the best deal on the Sony speaker stands for the HTK215 (HTK170 is the same) surround speakers. Sony Centres sell them for around £70, but so far the cheapest I can get on the high street is £60.

Has anyone bought these and know of any high-street or internet supplier that sells them cheaper ? Does anyone know of some good-looking 'silver' alternatives ?

The only alternative I've seen are the Alphason ones at £30, but these don't look as aesthetic as the Sony ones ?

If you have an Index catalogue go to page 325, they have a set of two WSFV10 Sony speaker stands for the satellite speakers for £45. However, this is miles more expensive if you are talking about £30-£70 for FOUR stands.

Thanks wickett. I meant to say that the WSFV10 are £70 for a pair (not for four speakers) at Sony Centre etc. If you've seen them for £45 at Index , then that's even better and I could use that as a haggling point with Sony Centre. Thanks for your help.

The Index catalog has the speaker stands for £45. To get it cheaper, look in the Littlewoods Extra catalog for the item number, order over the phone and say that this is your first purchase and you get another £10 off !!

Therefore you can buy the pair for half the price.

The Sony silver WS-WV10A wall mounting brackets for the small speakers are £26.99 per pair, I just bought them!

I thought I saw these on the NET for £19.99 a pair. Shop around for the best deal.
