I think it's really cute how people are cursing members of the panel. Does anyone really think they aren't mostly scripted so each girl had so many supporters?

I'm actaully really surprised....thought it was scripted but don't think it is now.

well, he brings good tv, and people watching would want him back, like they like zoe.
he just says some of those open mouth insert foot things which i guess is what it is all about.
he talks like a director/promotor/producer/composer... and he is none of those things. this is what makes some of his lines look dumb
The opinions of the panel have changed throughout the series. Jessie was quite brilliant some weeks but not others. I think she would have made a good Nancy. However Jodie showed stamina and the ability to take critism as well as being a good singer and dancer.

Cameron Mackintosh will probably find a way to sack Jodie. I thought he was quite unpleasant to say "Jessie IS Nancy" without sparing a thought for Jodie.

Why is it unpleasant. He was asked a direct question of who he thought was not Nancy and gave an honest and direct answer. Far better to tell her the truth then string her along and mislead her.
Genuine? No.
They are purely for effect and to keep their own profiles high. That is why the contestants should not have taken them seriously. When they did (Jessie in particular) they found the "advice" was so generalised as to be useless and, and even worse, confusing.

Unpleasant though it may it has to be taken on the chin, there will be a lot more of it to come in their careers for sure. As they say if it doesn't kill you it makes you stronger.
