well the trickster said some stuff that was identical to things the black guardian said in mawdryn undead in the classic series-- something about "waking or sleeping i can always find you"
If Tricky is in Turn Left it would explain what happens, although I'd have thought SJS would have to be around if he was to make an appearence and as far as we know she's only in 12 and 13.
