Coping with DVI
I bought my HD ready TV nearly two years ago.
It only has the one DVI input. Currently my HD content is supplied via my PC, when I choose to demonstrate the quality of HD media to my friends. I will very likely be a getting a TV with HDMI input(s) in the future, but this TV is serving its general purpose. I realise that you can use converter leads to cope with video side of hooking up HDMI equipment, but what experience do others have with having the separate audio problem, regardless of whether you feed the TV or a seperate amplifier. Is there a noticable degradation of sound compared to a direct HDMI audio link?! |
