I'm having trouble setting this up and wondered if anyone could tell me what the lights on the box mean. There is nothing mentioned in the instructions or on the Philex website.

When I first switch the transmitter box on I get a solid red light and the receiver one flashes. If I change to another channel the light sometimes goes out.

Does the flashing light means that it is searching or has it picked up the signal from the other box, does the light go out or should I see something else like a green light when it is working.

any info would be muchly appreciated and it would help me diagnose my problems if I could tell if the boxes are at least talking to each other.

does anyone successfully use one of these or should I be trying to get my money back ?
