PS3 play back

Hiya's

If I was to play cheap copies of movies that skipped around on a PS3 would it do any damage to the laser or player at all ?

A friend has ask me to post & see if it would.

Main danger would be if the disks were dirty or warped. I'd expect modern players to cope with scratches okay.

The fact that they're cheap and/or pirated shouldn't break your PS3.
