Low Fat Ice Cream !!!
Hi All,
I have been good with my diet now for a number of months & now something is telling me to buy some dreaded ice cream. Now normally when I buy it, I get a tub of Hagan Daz Strawberry Cheesecake but get the feeling that it is high in saturated fat .Can anyone suggest a nice low fat ice cream ?. Many Thanks DJM |

Mango sorbet is nice.
You can make a low fat icecream with pomegranites, pomegranite juice and creme fraiche. You can also make ice cream with low fat yoghurt and fromage frais and then add the fruit you would like to it. http://www.slimmingworld.com/healthy...e_icecream.asp |

Tesco stocks a very good selection of Skinny Cow icecream
http://www.skinnycow.co.uk/ You can get icecream in tubs which is low cal or try the individual ice cream lollies. At the moment you get 3 mint choc chip or 3 plain choc for 99p and each contain around 90 calories. Vey tasty, the choc ones are very nice, they taste very naughty. |

I've tried the Skinny Cow chocolate ice creams before - very nice indeed.
I only allowed myself to buy one box though in case my brain sneakily thought I could eat as many of them as I liked because of the low fat content! |

I really like the skinny cow range too, and is quite often on offer in Asda.

Skinny Cow are nice. Also, Solero Smoothies and Solero Exotic are very low in fat and calories.
