Celebrity Aprrentice
Did anyone watch Season 7 of The USA Apprentice. They took celebrities (including our own Piers Morgan and Lennox Lewis) through the apprentice process.
Would you like to see a UK version and who would you have compete? |

Well they did have that celebrity version for Comic Relief a while back where it was shorter than the original and the idea was to see who would get fired rather than who won.
Amusingly the loser was Piers Morgan - amusing because in the American version I believe he won! They are planning another one like that I believe becasue a few weeks back I saw SurAlan interviewed on Jonathon Ross and he got Ross to agree to go on it. I am not convinced that a full length celebrity version would be any good because any "celebrity" who had enough free time in their calendar to do that sort of show would presumably be a very minor celebrity indeed |

They did it again this year for Sport relief. the ladies team won - it's very different from the main show, I can't imagine how they get celebs to sign up for a full series, they were getting on each other's nerves after a few minutes I think Sirralun and J R were talking about a the short charity version.
Piers was an utter knob in the uk one, lord knows how he won in the US |

The TelevisionWithoutPity recaps are very funny and give you a very clear picture of why Piers won.

The US Celebrity version rocked!! They are doing another full celebrity season next year. Can't wait.
And I have to say, Piers Morgan dominated the show to the extreme. There has never been a more clear winner. The name "Celebrity Edition" was an exaggeration, though. The only people who took part in it that I had heard of were Gene Simmons, Lennox Lewis, Stephen Baldwin and Omarosa. |

True, but I read lots of statements on American discussion forums where people said they didn't know more than half of the contestants, or even less.

Jonathan Ross agreed to appear on Comic Relief Does The Apprentice, its just the same as Sport Relief Does The Apprentice. If I'm honest, I prefer the full length programmes because it starts with people we have no opinion, we are open minded about them, and they are chosen to be on the show for their business skills. A Celebrity edition is just a group of celebrities with free time scrambled together.
