changing to free evening and weekend calls

Hi

We changed to free evening and weekend calls last week. (it tied us in for 18 months, but what the hell)

Anyway ive just looked and we ae still being charged for evening calls.

my question is - do I have to wait until the following month for the tarif to be applied? or do I need to call BT and ask them to check it?

thanks
Heinz

You say you changed last week - did you make the change online, by phone or by returning their circular letter?

hi, we changed by phoning.

we rang up, spoke to one lady and tried to get her to put us on free evening and weekends - but she didnt sound too sure what she was doing.

so we rang up again 10 minutes later, and a much better chap confirmed we were on the free evening and weekend package.

Do check your bills very carefully indeed, paper and paper-free.
An "N" prefix denotes an adjustment and when added to the "Q" prefix bills it appeared that we were being charged over £400 p.a.
Many of our calls appear twice to start with and are corrected at the month's end.
But we haven't received a correct bill since last July; but live in hope.
Online Billing and auto Direct Debits have been a nightmare.

You can always rely on BT to bo**ox things up.
