Oh my, is this true about Spencer and Alfie?
That Alfie is actually his DAD?
Talk about rehashing the same thing again. Do we need the EXACT same storyline less than two years after the Slater one? Good GOD... But can anyone confirm/deny this? It's just insane if it is true... |

Although I reckon Alfie would be quite a cool Dad, I think that story line would be a bit crappy!

Hmmmmmm
I have always thought that Alfie was too old to be Spencer's brother. I remember Alfie saying how old he was, but can't remember exactly how old he said he was .... (Checks EE Website) No, It doesnt say. but I *think* he is between 35 and 40 And Spencer is just 18, whic would have made Alfie at the least 17 when he was born. And if you all remember, when Vicky was pregnant, Alfie mentioned something about Alfie getting a girl pregant when Alfie was Spencer's age, but he was too young to have kids. So maybe, just maybe that Spencer was that child????? |

Thats not too old to be a brother, my brother was around that age when i was born.
But i hope they dont do the same storyline again, that would just be pointless. |

This WOULD'VE been a good storyline, but at the moment it just seems too repetitive.

Well like I say, it's only a rumour I heard (from someone fairly reliable though), so it might not actually go ahead. Surely they aren't stupid enough to do the SAME thing, especially when the other person to have this storyline was Alfie's on-off girlfriend?

If they do recycle this storyline so soon with a character that's similiar to Kat then we should all apply for the storyline writers jobs at Eastenders! Sometimes you can redo a storyline and get away with it, but to do it so soon would ruin any credibility Alfies character has. I like him as the comical eliment of EE and I think he's a great person to manage the pub but once he gets booted out by Den Watts then he'll need new storylines and giving him ones such as "Spencer.... I am your father" while they are living in a cardboard box around the back of the Vic won't win any ratings wars.

I doubt this is true, but i'll have a look around, and see what i can find... No word of it in the spoilers which i do so if it is going to be a storyline, then i think it'll be ages away.... like you say, too soon after the Kat/Zoe one...
See what i can find out, KJG

This rumour has been around for ages. Tina Baker (the Soap Psychic) has said numerous times that it's a load of bull so I can't see it happening - it's too similar to the Zoe / Kat storyline to be true.

Eastenders is getting way too repetetive,if this was true I would go mad 1st it was Zoe and Kat and then it would be Alfie and Spencer. It's like Lisa is going to shoot Phile for a SECOND time whats going on at storyline HQ at Eastenders come up with something original!

I always felt that Lisa (or Lucy, rather) was very underrated as an actress. Yes, she played an annoying character, but she was a good actress, especially during those Spanish scenes...

[b]That Alfie is actually his DAD Mmmmm, I've been thinking for a little while that they were going down that road .............. I feel that at the moment the Eastenders crew are feeling a bit desperate. Corrie has beaten them in the polls a few times now, and they feel they need to do 'something' to gain the top spot back. Unfortunately, for us!!!! instead of finding new story lines they've hit on the idea of rehashing old ones, with a slight twist. It's exciting new stories we want .......not de ja vue (spelling lol) |

I have only been watching Eastenders (regularly) for less than a year. I have hardly watched enough to appreciate the repetition of the storylines.
