Chris Moyles
i originally thought he was an overweight twot who was irritating, but listening to him at work kinds gets me thru the day. These sound fx things he keeps doing is funny also the recording of callers voices is good as well "that is my name, its not my name" lol

I like the rest of his crew but I find the man himself intensely irritating. Mind you, he is even worse on tv.

Sounds hilarious. No, it really does.
Now, where are those needles? I really must stick them in my eyes. |

I quite often listen to Chris Moyles on my way to work in the morning. This morning it was the whole Dominic Byrne/Raef thing that had me chuckling.
Yesterday or possibly the day before Gordon Ramsay was on and I actually sat in the car park to keep listening for a bit before I had to go into work. His shows aren't always that good, but when they are it's a good start to the day. As has already been mentioned though,he's never any good on TV. Definitely has a face for radio. My OH can't stand him, and most other people seem to be of the same opinion, but each to his own, I say. |

Shoouldn't this be in radio forum?
Anyway, I like Chris Moyles, though only time i listen is when I get up and driving to work, sometimes only 40 minutes or so in total. I like the banter on his show and how the funny bits are not forced. Music he plays is crap (but its daytime playlisted stuff), best bits of his show are the links between records. |

the team sound like they are all proper mates having a laff in the pub. its probably very well scripted as they always seem to time the segments right (i dont know, is it?) but sounds so off the cuff and just a bunch of mates - i suppose thats why chris moyles has the breakfast show and why he gets paid how much he does... but - scott mills show - i like scott mills but thier "hilarity" is just far too contrived, with chappers sniggering and making innuendo at every opportunity - so dull... |

I don't see how he got onto Radio 1, he has such an irritating voice, he's sounds like a drunken fat man (which he probably is), and his show is full of awkward silences after he's attempted to be funny, if he's the saviour of Radio 1, Radio 1's going down the sh*tter.

the one really professional thing abotu Moyles is there are never awkward silences on his show... also if you notice... unlike all the other Dj's he does say "err" 5x a sentence... everything flows!
He definately needs his team, him and his team make great radio... however he is a crap tv presenter and needs to give it a rest! |

WHAT is this fat talentless annoying gimp doing in the music forum!?
Cannot stand him. But to be honest i don't enjoy many Radio DJ's. Can only listen to Ricky Gervais, Stephen Merchant, Russell Brand, Russell Howard and Jon Richardson and a bit of the Geoff Show on Virgin Radio Apart from that they ALL annoy me |

really, i am no Chris Moyles superfan, i usually listen to CD's, but your calling him a talentless annoying gimp, and you list Russel Brand as someone you can listen to?
Id rather do 4 hours of Japanese style torture than 4 minutes of listening to that waste of space. Russell is defiantly no waste of space! |

Nah I was just saying it because Jmac04 said Russel brand was better than Chris Moyles, and used the awards as a way of measuring his talent.... and well Chris Moyles has more... soo surely is better!

cant say i've ever heard an awkward silence on the show. I quite like listening to him in the mornings, they all sound like they get on really well and it comes across as good banter. how is his voice irritating? is it cos he's northern?
