I like Karen Brady, but on this occasion I don't think she came across atall well; she seemed to be more interested in how candidates looked or dressed. Indeed, she seemed to be shallow and sexist - all she had to say about Alex was how good looking and charming he is, and with the female candidates subscribing to the view that every woman has it hard because they're competing in such a male dominated world etc - she seemed to buy into this totally without any questioning, which was ashame I thought.
I think it is good to have a female perspective however, it's just ashame that this particular perspective was interested only in how someone looks and 'girl power'.
Was a very interesting programme though, and I thought that Lucinda was treated shamefelly in the boardroom by Alex - all she said was that she was thinking that maybe the role wasn't right by her, which was interpreted by Alex as 'I don't want the job'. But she performed terribly in the interviews - only Karen stuck up for her, and seemed to do so because Lucinda is a female, and she resented the male interviewers comments about her only being good for decorating the office etc
