Lee is a liar and kept on. Alex is dull and kept on. Helene has shown no skills over the whole process and somehow is still in it.

I thought for a minute you were referring to Lee - notice how he started to fill up when he was talking about his parents. I thought something dreadful had happened to them - who'd have thought it was because his dad was a milkman??

Oh yeah, I saw that programme last night. WTF is wrong with being a milkman. "I had such a hard life, I could only go to college for 4 months and me old man's a milkman"

Helene hasn't pushed forward her background; the producers have clearly brought it up, as did the interviewers, probably to make a super-dull but fairly capable candidate more interesting for the viewers. Unfortunately it has turned her into the sob story candidate and lots of us find that unappealing.

Lee welling up over his dad being a milkman seemed very genuine and I do think he has got, for want of a better expression, a chip on his shoulder about his humble beginnings, why else would he have embellished his "university" education on his CV? It would be great if Lee won The Apprentice and got an opportunity to feel comfortable in his own skin and appreciate that he has achieved a great deal and shouldn't be ashamed of his lack of formal qualifications.

Sir Allen has been taken in by a sob storey before when he passed over badger for the job, so now he doesn't want to know any? I think that is one of the reasons he wants to give Helene another chance.
