24 year old alex decided to play the age card by constantly saying he was 24, as highlighted in 'You're fired' by michael macintyre, he was a bullshitter really and being 24 is really nothing

24 years even though many start earlier than 24, 24 is just a number, you could be a multi millionaire or just some random failure at 24 so 24 is emrely the number of hours in a day and alex is no where near as important and is really just a 24 year old bullshitter

Did you know that Alex is indeed 24? He failed to mention it tonight, I was so annoyed with him.

I think Alex had a point that his CV was maybe less colourful than the people who are older, like Lucinda, and/or didn't go to uni so started work at an earlier age, like Helene and Lee. However, he rammed the point home rather too strongly and made out as though he was ashamed of his age or thought that he wasn't as good as the other candidates but should be given special dispensation because of his youth. xx

Alex wasn't the youngest in the whole competition- wasn't Lindi like 21 or something?

When I was 22 I'd already been in lots of interviews where I told everyone I was 22.

He was born in 1982 apparently, so why is he still in 2006?

Never mind. He won't be 24 for much longer, he will be 25 soon. I wonder if he will tell everyone that he is 25, like he did when he was 24?

Is he chopping 2 years off his age.?

Actually it did say in that show the other night that he was born in 1982. I suppose it depends on what month, but if the show was filmed before his birthday he would have been 24.

Of course now he is no longer 24, he is in fact 25. Actually this year he will be celebrating his 26th birthday. Then he can tell everyone that he is 26

He looks a tad older than 24! But 26 doesn't have the same ring to it. Tim and Michelle were 26 when they won so Alex couldn't be the "youngest winner" could he?
