How many years in advance do they film this show then? Last time I looked, it was 2008, and if he was born in 1982 this would make him at least 25 if it was filmed any time in the past year. Still, I don't see why anyone would lie about that.
When I was 13 I spent a camping holiday in the Lake district and I counted 24 midge bites on each leg.

This was filmed around October 2007. If he was born in Nov/Dec 1982 he would still only be 24 at time of filming.
Perhaps that could be an explanation.

Well I was born in April 1982 and so turned 25 last year. If Alex was born in November or Decemeber of 1982, then in theory he could have still been 24 during filming.
I'm 24 too!! Luckily I am nothing like Alex, I have normal coloured lips for a start and I would negotiate better plane seats for my mother as well as me.
