I have just been reading some news about EE Kat getting married to her boyfriend. I discovered that she uses the screen name of Jessie Wallace, but in actual fact, her real name is Karen.

What is wrong with Karen?

I know some people have to have different stage names to gain equity cards -- Patsy Palmer is an example of this, her real name is Julie Harris.

But do people change their names just to sound more attractive?

Does anyone know any other soap actors / actresses who don't use their `Real` names as there stage names?
