For me, Lucinda is the real winner

Firstly, may I clarify that normally I do not but into this championing of candidates but tonight's show has angered me.

Alex proved himself to be what we always expected: a conniving and spineless cretin. The others are equally conniving, proved by their endless backbiting when Lucinda was absent.

So why do I think Lucinda is the real winner? She left with her dignity intact, she proved many wrong and she did not resort to bullying which has so typified this series and clouded SAS's opinion.

She emerged as a nice person who is more able- and surely this is the real triumph?

she Was Not Right For The Job And She Even Admitted It Herself That She Wasn't

I entirely agree- why would anyone with a moral conscience want to work for such a company?

I'm so gutted for Lucinda.

She was so frank in her interviews and I admired her for that.

But ultimately she was marginalised for being "different" and I don't think that's a particularly pleasant or helpful message for Sir Alan to send out.

She was too good for that job and she wasn't prepared to stoop the level of the others to attain it.

Classy, quirky, capable. Those will be my lasting impressions of Lucinda.

I have to agree with that. If these are the people they want for that company - let them have it.

I think in a way the more decent candidates this year are well out of it if that is the kind of person SAS is looking for....

All I can say is they wanted someone in the job that can be moulded and pushed around and structured but ultimately to work long hours and work until they drop.

Lucinda wouldn't do that. Raef wouldn't do that. I doubt Sara would have either.

I think Lucinda has done well. She just isn't the type of person SAS is going to employ and to last until the final 5 is a great achievement IMO.

Also she looks amazing and I love her dress sense. She was also one of the few that didn't resort to backstabbing and being a complete b!tch.

Good luck to her!

Very well said. She'll go on to bigger and better things. Quite frankly, if that's the best SAS has to offer then he can stick his job.

She emerged as mindless, ineffectual, inept, skill-less, detached from reality, babbling, petty minded and barely able to engage in a sensible conversation.

One of the interviewers was very insightful, she just doesn't listen. She doesn't seem capable of absorbing information, prioritising or in fact anything very much.

She is utterly self-absorbed and insulated from reality and its workings. She is a complete waste of space and simply witters into space making no impression.

The only thing she is capable of applying herself to is her dress sense, anything more demanding or more involved with people is beyond her.

thank heavens she got away. She's far too good for that job. No one sane would want to work for him. Seriously.

It's not making for particularly pleasant or compelling viewing though.

I couldn't care a less who won now. I'm finding the show a complete turn off.

I do feel that Lucinda has had a lucky escape!

But ah, who gives a toss about the remaining contestants with their inarticulate arguments and their clothes of grey and black? Not me!

Hopefully they will all just stab each other in the back until there is noone left.

Farewell Lady Ribena Berry! We shall miss you.

Lucina was by far the best candidate of the series

Lucinda, Sara, Raef - all very intelligent, honest, nice people who deserve all the success they will no doubt have

Wouldn't employ the rest to clean dog poo up.

In that case, how has she managed to become the highest earning businesswoman of this series?

I agree she wasn't right for the job, but i really liked her. I have a feeling i would have gotten on well with her if i was there. Not sure why. She wasn't a cocky **** like the others, and actually she had a lot of good ideas. Like when they did the tissues, and the two guys put stupid pictures of kids blowing their noses? WTF, and she said she didn't like them, the most sensible thing that was said throughout that whole episode.

You have some 'issues' don't you?

Any claims of dizziness or incompetence can be dismissed by the fact she is the highest-earner...

Does the boldedness and unecessary capitals infer shouting? Are you Claire? But without the business acumen? Or do you just have no real arguments to back up your claims and think that bolding and capitalising your single sentence will do?

Intelligent, quirky, charming, articulate, Lucinda stands head and shoulders above the other candidates

She is most definitely a winner, already successful & highly paid for what she does

I wouldn't give the others the time of day but Lucinda is outstanding & someone I'll remember, not least because she's a throughly nice person who stood up to being bullied by the pack & emerged with dignity & integrity at the end of it

Glad she got her own show tonight too

I think a lot of people would agree with you. She was a terrific woman in the wrong place - with a bunch of bitchy brats!

She'll sail on regardless, and continue to be damn good at what she does

In the end it was obvious that Alan Sugar saw Lucinda in the same way as the rest of the moronic cretins have this series - a bit quirky, a bit posh, too honest and most importantly more intelligent and dignified than all of them put together.

Basically, AS showed there is no room in his organisation for bright, spirited individuals - so let him opt for the snake Alex; the walking-gob Claire, the graduate of the university of Slough - I think there's another one but I can't remember his name - I think he has big balls though.

Thank God for Lucinda and Raef this serires without them the programme would have been totally unwatchable.
