I have seen Lucinda's appreciation group but can no longer find it. This is a place to share our memories, quotes and any other knowledge of this year's most articulate, educated and nicest candidate.

Also, as Lucinda intends to post on DS, it would be nice if this is where questions etc are posed and where our beloved beret-wearing friend can post her thoughts.

Lucinda rules!

I totally agree with the fact that Lucinda is the real winner of this years 'Apprentice'... she balanced the right level of what you need to be a fantastic business person - and wow, did she exceed everything expected of her.
She was on the winning team 8 times, twice being a Project Manager; however, people are claiming that she could not hold it together when she was not leading... Well, I'm sorry, it wasn't Lucinda's fault that she was surrounded by slimy, conniving, idea-stealing (Raffles for the Zon(d)a anyone?) scheming low-lifes AKA Alex, Helene, Jenny C etc...
and unlike the females, excluding Sara, Shazia, and maybe Lindi, she did not resort to using her sexuality to get her way through the competition... What got her through the process was her brilliance, and the fact that Alex was not there half the time to brainwash people against her.
I noticed, and I think Lucinda may have mentioned it in 'You're Fired!', that ever since Lee became entangle in a group with Alex, his attitude towards her decreased rapidly - they both 6became nasty, typical 'boys', ganging up against her, and it just seemed as if usually-friendly Lee was being influenced by Alex to constantly undermine her, patronise her and treat her like rubbish.
For me, this was so irritating to watch for Lucinda was the true winner overall... She may have been 'zany', and her fashion sense may have been a little bit different to everybody else, but so what? Surely this is a good thing - I think that if Sir Alan could not see where Lucinda would fit into his company, than he did not deserve the many talents of Lucinda...

For anybody who would like to voice their appreciation of Lucinda, please feel free to join this Group. I'm not trying to 'plug' my Group, as it were, I'd just like all Lucinda fans to come together to voice their appreciation:

I can only hope that we will be hearing of Lucinda Ledgerwood in the near future.

OH, and just realised that Lucinda plans to post on DS!

If she does post on here I'd like to say;
Congratulations on getting through to the final 5. I thought it took great strength and determination to see the process through.
What are your plans for the future?

My all-time favourite Lucinda moment, measuring the cactus in Marrakesh: "I should say that's pretty spot on!"

But there were so many others. Most of the time, I was watching this series for her.

Lucinda, you are brilliant and showed that there is another way to business. What was done in the boardroom on last night's show was terrible. Alex is sly and dangerous....I'm thankful he isn't part of my company!

Just about sums it up to be honest. Whatever happens we all know she's the real winner in this.

Personally, I liked her the best, but I don't think that Sir Alan would be a good boss for her. It was a good decision, and one Lucinda seems agree with. The same thing happened to James Max, he was capable, educated, and intelligent (ish,) but could you seriously see either of the, as Sir Alan (or anyone's Apprentice.)

Lee is a tosspot, but he is the kind of person that Sir Alan would hire, same with Helene. I think Claire is just too gobby and Sir Alan will have had to notice all the backstabbing Alex has done(after all, much of it happened in the boardroom.)

Lucinda was awesome! She had so many great moments and it is good to see someone with a different approach to business. One of the only candidates with any integrity and honesty. Oh and... she's got style!

I agree, she looked amazing in that dress from HN!! So sexy!!

She was so classy, I'll miss her so much. I can imagine I'd learn a lot in 2 weeks work experience with her. She could calm me down I think, haha!!

I'll miss her next week in a finalist capacity, but at least she'll be back in some form!! She provided so much calm among a sea of power-dressing and unnecessary egotistical self indulgence by the others.

Lucinda is an awe-inspiring person; a role-model fo all, and the best darn businesswoman you could ever come across...

I am studying A-Level Drama - and think Lucinda would be a fantastic Drama teacher! She has all the qualities that a drama teacher needs; and this is why she is better than all the others - she has depth, and has so many qualities!

I adore Lucinda. She was far too superior for that job and the whole 'Apprentice' farce. Had far too much grace, pride, dignity and integrity.

Well done, Lucinda, for hanging on in there and being the last one left who held fast to their morals, values and principles.

I still reckon it should have been Lucinda and Raef in the final and Simon should never have gone so soon. But I'm glad it's worked out the way it has because it just goes to show the calibre of the sort of person SA really wants in his business - a foul mouthed liar, a backstabbing gobby shafter, a slippery slimey snake and an evil lazy bint. Guess who's who .

hehe That obvious eh?

Can I just add that I am still completely disgusted at the way those interviewers bullied her - just disagraceful behaviour by anyone let alone so called 'experienced professionals'. It was just awful and it was aggressive. Bullied all the way through the series and then bullied by the interviewers themselves. Absolutely appalling.

What a great girl !
I loved it when SAS asked her what she thought her chances of getting fired were and she replied 'One in three'

She's a class act.

I loved Lucinda from week 1 from The Apprentice

At first I just liked the fact that she stood out from the crowd (in a good way )
Then week 2 I thought she dealt well with the disgraceful way she was treated by Jenny and some of the other team members.
After that I thought she showed more and more potential each week.
She proved herself to be a great team leader, and even those who she had previously not got on had to agree that she'd done a great job.
I'm actually glad that she didn't get the job, although I think she would be capable of doing it well, I think that it wouldn't have 100% suited her. I think now she'll have many more opportunities and hopefully end up doing something which she really enjoys.
So on a business level I think she showed herself to be calm under pressure, very capable of doing a job well and she also seemed to have a good effect on the other members of her team.

But on a personel level I think she also shone through. She dealt with the bullying very well imo, because she didn't react and although she did get upset one time (which was completely understandable after a full day's work and having to put up with THAT all day) she came out of it very dignified and can hold her head high.
She never backstabbed or bitched about the others and didn't try to get them into trouble. She just seemed genuinelly nice, which was good to see.

Finally I love her style. All the way through I've looked forward to seeing new outfits each week I think she was right when she said that we don't need to be black and white all the time and I think it was great that she looked smart but at the same time stylish and different to everyone else.
Also last night on You're fired she looked amazing imo, loved her new hairstyle and the dress.
Basically, for me, Lucinda has been the best candidate to appear on The Apprentice and I've really enjoyed watching her each week. I'm not actually very excited about the final because I'm not particularly bothered who wins now.

But we know that the true winner is Lucinda!
