Loved Lucinda should of won in my opinion.

Love you Lucinda good luck with everything, I am sure you will end up getting offered a great job anyways, maybe a leadership role as you seem good at that.

Ooooh yay for Lucinda!! I think she has tied with The Badger as my favourite Apprentice candidate.

She's such a classy lady and did such an excellent job lasting that long in The Apprentice. Bravo Lucinda! Also she has excellent fashion sense.

Awesome

Hope I don't get it mixed up with a flat cap, seeing as I'm absolutely useless when it comes to fashion

Haha. I do genuinely have quite a few flat caps too... Four. One difference I can tell you is that berets tend to be "baggy" and don't have any solid structure really, whereas flat caps tend to have a stiffened front.

Errm... Isn't this thread, strictly speaking, an "appreciation" thread? If it is then you're breaking rules I'm afraid!

Lucinda , you may have been right when "you don't have to be a bitch to succeed in business" but unfortunately you do if you want to get into the finals of TA.

Still you can look back on the episodes and hold your head high, which is more than can be said for the rest of the finalists.

Lucinda is a First Class role model for women today.

She's proved that you can suceed in business without being "motivated by money".

She's proved that you can suceed in business without the Stepford-esque corporate suits and aggressive ("ballsy") attitude that the female finalists are so proud of.

She's proved that you can suceed in business without resorting to "dirty tricks", and trying to undermine competitors.

Lucinda has more dignity and integrity in her beret than the 4 finallists put together, and I for one would be pleased and proud to work with her, and wish her good luck and happiness in whatever she chooses to do next.

If you have a candidate for your business who is intelligent & a proven success - unlike the other wannabes - I think you want them but not Siralan.

Siralan is frightened of intelligence and would rather have low quality people than someone who might be brighter than him.

Of the past winners I'd only pick Tim as a good choice.

I think it's quite revealing that there are no appreciation threads for any of the finalists. Usually, by the final of a reality show the main topics of conversation are between different supporters - but Lucinda is still maintaining top billing.

I take some comfort in the fact that people seem to have reacted so badly to this series and have voiced their concerns on the shoddy calibre of most of the cretins put before us.

But would you want to have her as an employee?

The answer is no.

disagree.

her leadership style would go down well with me, her individualism would not be out of place and her wish to avoid boredom could be accommodated.

But she isn't adaptable and that makes things very difficult, she is destructive when given jobs outside of her comfort zone and then demands constant, time consuming hand holding.

Modern business requires adaptabillity and the need to throw yourself at any task when required.

She proved she didn't have those skills.

if you worked for an ISO9000 accredited company, or had some other externally-imposed quality standard, you would know that under documented managements systems employees/managers should be assigned tasks that they are already capable of or given appropriate training to bring their competence up to that level.

SAS doesn't strike me as the kind of person that would want 'organised' management around him though.

the show is not real life, but you are describing the real life impact of a tv persona, so the rules of the show are not the governing rules.
