Yes and then there is the real world.
In the real world you don't want to have to spend days trying to coax someone into doing something. You want people who will enthusiasticly turn their hand to any challange. Lucinda showed that she did not have that skill.
I would not have hired her, though I thought she did have many skills, none were appropriate for the apprentice.
