Alex doesn't bully. He watches for the way the wind falls, and then tells tales. That's not bullying either.

Lucinda was capable of so little it was impossible to find anything for her to except to pose in her beret. Here we have someone who can't even remember the name of a car despite half a day's research and being repeatedly corrected. Lucinda's only strength is the size of her wardrobe. Helene was stupid to put her in any sort of position of responsibility, but that still doesn't excuse Lucinda's general ineptness.
perhaps you are a successful as she is, perhaps not, but for some reason, your posts regularly appear to be invective directed at her. we see a very small amount of the footage and what we saw of Lucinda was that she was almost always on the winning side. the car task was made for Lee and Alex and should have been good for Michael. if she remembered the name 300 times that day and got it wrong 3 times, which do you think would be included for "good tv"? as a leader, she got results. you wouldn't judge Napoleon for his marksmanship with a musket, why judge a manager on sales? |

It does seem a bit rich for people to post negative and unpleasant posts about a candidate on a thread that's intended specifically for that candidate to read.
It feels to me like a continuation of the on-screen bullying, by proxy. |

Regardless of what the anti-LL posters have said, I think Lucinda should definitely take heart from the sheer amount of support that is evident.
It should also be remembered that Lucinda did not only shine as PM but had noteable mentions from Nick/Margaret on other tasks, such as in Marrakech. She came across as a conscientious candidate, at the same time not stooping to the level of her colleagues, and maintaining her dignity right 'til the end. Lucinda really seems a lovely and interesting person and I'm sure she'll go far in whatever she does next. |

someone like lucinda who is in business and earning £100k+ will have faced worse than the so called "bullying" from other contestants i am sure in her career.
if Lucinda is reading this - i thought you were ok. SAS was right you were a good leader but a crap team player. All i got to say is just stop saying "absolutly" and "absolutly not" - that was the only thing that got on my nerves during the interviews, apart from that you were the best in the interviews - hmmm have you faced that kind of thing before lol |

"...I'm a big fan of your website....at times! I'm going to pop something on your [forums] when I get back up home because it really has been interesting to read." ...if she didn't mean it as she is clearly not like that.

Anyway, good luck to Lucinda, she was my 3rd favorite this series after Raef and Simon. I wish her all the best for the future, though I'm quite sure she doesn't need it!

As someone who has interviewed many many people for jobs both by myself and on interview panels, I wouldn't penalise someone who questioned early on in the proceedings whether they felt they were right for the job on offer especially when it is for a big promotion as it shows maturity and if they can then articulately explain why they have come to the conclusion that they do feel they are in fact right for the job or the job is right for them.
What I would hold against someone however is if they talk about another candidate, telling me things that they heard them say privately. To me that instantly marks that candidate out at untrustworthy and desperate - not good qualities for a manager at any level. |

Your comment about candidates commenting on one another is not really an issue in the Apprentice, they are constantly being asked to comment on one another's performance. The Apprentice is not a normal interview situation.

You really do appear to have an issue with Lucinda.
perhaps you are a successful as she is, perhaps not, but for some reason, your posts regularly appear to be invective directed at her. we see a very small amount of the footage and what we saw of Lucinda was that she was almost always on the winning side. the car task was made for Lee and Alex and should have been good for Michael. if she remembered the name 300 times that day and got it wrong 3 times, which do you think would be included for "good tv"? as a leader, she got results. you wouldn't judge Napoleon for his marksmanship with a musket, why judge a manager on sales? Not only did she not remember the correct name of the car she couldn't even reliably pronounce the car correctly despite being repeatedly corrected. In the "zambini" unseen footage clip on the BBC site she and the team are researching the cars and she repeatedly gets the name wrong and is repeatedly corrected, she makes such a habit of this error that Nick has to warn Lee that Lucinda will have to improve otherwise she will name the cars incorrectly on the following task day, and what happens? She repeatedly gets the name wrong in the task as predicted, despite all of the efforts of others to correct her. The woman is dim and incompetent to a level where she is performing less well than a teenager would be expected to perform. She is utterly inept. As a leader she did not achieve results, her team did. In the tasks in which she was PM she lost the ice cream task and she won the wedding task. Her win had nothing to with her project management skills. The wedding task almost required no project management as there were very few decisions to be made and running the team was very simple. The one key decision, the selection of dress provider, was made by Raef and Lucinda simply endorsed it. The reason some of her team endorsed her as a PM was simply because she left them alone, and she left them alone because she is incapable of being a strong PM and because the tasks for which she was PM did not require an active PM. Lucinda supporters seem as inept at examining events and identifying their causes as Lucinda is at ........ well everything. |

Vivid, I have had an epiphany and am now convinced by your arguments. You have changed my mind completely. Lucinda had me under her spell and now you have broken it by your erudite and well presented postulations. I now realise that what Lucinda presented bore no relation to reality and in supporting her I personally was as inept as she was by default at ... well everything. Thank you for putting me back on the right path in life although I probably should be punished for my mistakes. I am now considering going on a retreat to spend some time thinking about where I go from here. Or is that too fluffy? What do you advise?

Hhhmmmmm.....................
Well if you come into my gently-lit office and lie down on my couch I will do what I can for you. So let's begin........ Are you a big fan of dressing up? And how many pairs of shoes do you have? Do you find yourself day dreaming and wishing some man would whisk you away to a tropical paradise island with palm trees which bend over a golden beach bathed in sunshine and there is the Island social club where the well-dressed sophisticates gather in the evenings to be entertained by a show or two and exhibit their latest couture over cocktails and canapes? |

If she is posting on here I need to know where she gets her berets from! Last summer I spent ages and went to 20 different shops (roughly) looking for one.
