I have pills for that.
That doesn't surprise me.

Tell me, do you find it difficult to admit to being surprised? Do you like surprises? When was the last time you were surprised? Was it a jolt to the system?

The mistake we're all making (and a lot of us do it, I know !)
is actually getting into dialogue with Vivid, he's hijacked this thread, just as he's done others. I know he gets a lot of peoples backs up, mine included, but the thread is supposed to be about messages and questions we have for the delightful Lucinda.

He's just trolling, and he never says anything new. I don't mind anybody having different opinions to me, but I'm sick of him slagging people off and being downright rude to other posters who dare to have a different opinion to him.

I think he's just looking to get a reaction.

So, back to the important stuff. I would like to ask Lucinda that if it's true she wants to get into presenting. What sort of programme would she like to present.

Would Lucinda be interested in a starring role in Doctor Who? I have dirt on the new producer, it can be arranged.

I am more than happy to focus on Lucinda, and the reason I get your back up is because you are a Lucinda supporter who, like her, is confused and unable to identify the pertinent issues of the candidates and in the tasks and find valid criticism of Lucinda's performance difficult to endure.

I don't think there has ever been a candidate who made the last five in all of the series who has performed as badly as Lucinda and for non-Lucinda supporters her presence is an embarrassment to the programme.

In some small mitigation of her, in the Holy Moly video she actually seemed less detached from reality than usual and actually seemed capable of engaging with the interviewer and answered questions, and even seemed to acknowledge she was useless when she half-jokingly said she couldn't do anything. Her performance on YF was in contrast typically detached from reality, typically infuriating and typically self-indulgent.

In your opinion.

But your opinion seems to be completely detached from reality.

Did you mention you had pills to deal with that?

Might be an idea to see your doctor and get the dose increased.

Lucinda was capable of so little it was impossible to find anything for her to except to pose in her beret. Here we have someone who can't even remember the name of a car despite half a day's research and being repeatedly corrected. Lucinda's only strength is the size of her wardrobe. Helene was stupid to put her in any sort of position of responsibility, but that still doesn't excuse Lucinda's general ineptness.
Obviously you have being watching a completly different programme or you have a very perculiar idea of some with no capability.

I have made a resolution to never reply again to posts that choose to insult the poster for their point of view. I am quite happy to accept that people may have a widely differing view of things than I do but I don't see the need to insult them for it and I am choosing to ignore those who feel they cannot make their point without resorting to doing so.

If you examine the posts I am replying to you will see they are a good deal more insulting than mine. For instance if you look at qpw3141's posting record you will see it is far more personally abusive.

I criticise people's faulty evaluation of Lucinda, I do not use indiscriminate personal abuse.

Watch the "zambini" unseen clip of the day before the task and you will see her repeated inability to remember Zonda despite half a day's research and practice and being repeatedly corrected. Her performance was so appalling Nick warned Lee that he had to take measures to help her. There are primates that could do better.

Isn't this thread for questions to Lucinda? not vitriol aimed at everyone by vivd!

I continue to find it deeply unpleasant that people are willing to post messages slagging off an individual candidate on a thread intended to convey messages and questions to that candidate.

I've just watched the Holy Moly video, and wasn't she great ! she looked so pretty and I loved the comments she made first about Alex 'he's good looking but that's all you can say about him, plus the fact that he's 24' and Helene, something about her having balls,

I think she's going to do very well out of this, and I wish her all the best.

This sort of desperate, grasping at straws argument seems to be typical of Lucinda supporters who really don't wish to face the facts and share the deluded Lucinda world view which bears no relation to reality. Let's look at the evidence.

Not only did she not remember the correct name of the car she couldn't even reliably pronounce the car correctly despite being repeatedly corrected. In the "zambini" unseen footage clip on the BBC site she and the team are researching the cars and she repeatedly gets the name wrong and is repeatedly corrected, she makes such a habit of this error that Nick has to warn Lee that Lucinda will have to improve otherwise she will name the cars incorrectly on the following task day, and what happens? She repeatedly gets the name wrong in the task as predicted, despite all of the efforts of others to correct her. The woman is dim and incompetent to a level where she is performing less well than a teenager would be expected to perform. She is utterly inept.

As a leader she did not achieve results, her team did. In the tasks in which she was PM she lost the ice cream task and she won the wedding task. Her win had nothing to with her project management skills. The wedding task almost required no project management as there were very few decisions to be made and running the team was very simple. The one key decision, the selection of dress provider, was made by Raef and Lucinda simply endorsed it. The reason some of her team endorsed her as a PM was simply because she left them alone, and she left them alone because she is incapable of being a strong PM and because the tasks for which she was PM did not require an active PM. Lucinda supporters seem as inept at examining events and identifying their causes as Lucinda is at ........ well everything.
Vivid - we seem to be at odds quite often at the moment.

I never need to use 'desperate, grasping at straws' arguments.

simply put, your dislike of Lucinda is of such a seemingly irrational and fanatical nature that no appeal to reason appears likely to sway you. in those circumstances, I see no further point engaging in debate with you. post 'whatever!' or whichelse you please to refute my POV, but you and I know that reason does not enter into it.

Lucinda could have out-performed Bill Gates and Richard Branson combined and IMO you would still put her down.

I don't think you are a troll, but we would find it helpful to understand your pathological dislike.

Claire made remarks about Lucinda to the others whilst she was sitting one of the interviews. It's gang mentality which I class as bullying.
You cannot bully someone if they are not there when you exhibit this behaviour. In this case it becomes bitching.

She was mocking her voice and swearing at her while she was doing it. Along with everything else they have done to her on the show - it's Bullying.
That wasn't bullying - it was thoroughly spiteful and rude, but be logical. It doesn't even fit into the definition of bullying - a person has to be present to be bullied!

It was nasty, two-faced bitching though.

She said she wants to be a television presenter, and after seeing the Holy Moly interview, I actually can't wait until she gets her first presenting job!

What should she present though?

Some type of interior design show, I reckon that'd be right up her street.

Thought Lucinda was lovely and admirable for not stooping to the level of many of the others.

Of course, loved her dress sense and thought she was just a breath of fresh air and really brightened up the show – as well as coming across as a talented and conscientious woman.

I’m sure she will succeed in whatever she chooses to do next.

It's not really polite to post anything until you can learn to control your shift key properly
