Lucy, 2 questions:
Do you colour-coordinate your beret with your knickers for the day? What time is it please? |

Spoon, I think your diagnosis may be incorrect and that you may be wasting your time. The words "do not feed" spring to mind.
poor things, hiding under bridges until travellers appear... Anyhow, hasn't Vivid gone into hiding since my post? I may feed trolls, but it is poisoned meat! |

Vivid - we seem to be at odds quite often at the moment.
I never need to use 'desperate, grasping at straws' arguments. simply put, your dislike of Lucinda is of such a seemingly irrational and fanatical nature that no appeal to reason appears likely to sway you. in those circumstances, I see no further point engaging in debate with you. post 'whatever!' or whichelse you please to refute my POV, but you and I know that reason does not enter into it. Lucinda could have out-performed Bill Gates and Richard Branson combined and IMO you would still put her down. I don't think you are a troll, but we would find it helpful to understand your pathological dislike. Her business persona, or at the least one we have witnessed, she says in her posts that the Apprentice accurately reflects the real her, is just appalling. It is not offensive, just simply infuriating. Just as infuriating as having to work with a child in an adult's job. She was so confused and so disorientated by the Apprentice demands and clearly inexperienced in working in a team that in desperation to raise her lowly status she resorted to some of the self-indulgent, self-promoting and immature tactics deployed by Claire some time ago that included sabotaging the teams she was in. People that are experienced in working in teams would never have resorted to the same disruptive tactics, they would have found ways to be go with the flow and make the best of difficult situations and respected the needs of the team above their own. Perhaps when she has had more experience of people and teams and perhaps if she ever learns how to retain basic information, such as the name of a product she is promoting, then she will be more attached to the real world, be more objective and feel more confident and therefore less inclined to indulge some of her more childish inclinations. I think it is a general rule that people behave more badly the more pressure they are under and the less capable they feel and perhaps if Lucinda was in a situation where she didn't feel inept, say in a beret collectors fair, she would probably be quite pleasant and she wouldn't be "naughty naughty naughty". |
