If I connect my DMREX75 with only a HDMI cable to my AV Receiver (Onkyo TX-SR606) will Dolby Digital be output? Or do I need to buy and connect a digital audio optical fibre cable between the two as well?

Hi Andrew - You need to connect optical as well as HDMI to get Dolby digital.

You may also need to change some settings. See left column of page 63 of the manual for guidance... and then page 55.
