I'm glad I'm not alone in my opinion of Alex; I was going to say I couldn't believe it when he piped up when SAS was talking to Lucinda last night, but to be honest - it was typical of him. The most blatant game player I think there has been in all series of TA so far.
And to sack just one candidate after the interview process made something of a mockery of it to me

He also seems to think that going to private school makes him intelligent. No it does not, it just means his parents had enough money to put him in a school for kids in the same boat. I do not think he is bright, he can barely construct a proper sentance in English. In the interview he said he was 'motivational', instead of saying I am highly motivated. Not to mention on the car task 'in my brain, I am made for high calibre sales'. In my brain? who the f*ck says that?

Also when one of the interviewers was getting annoyed at him and saying tell me what you can do, he started a sentance with 'i'm an individual..' no....really Alex? can't say he's not perceptive, or perceptionist as Alex might say!

What irritated me was when they were all in the board room. Every time Big Al started rollicking one of the others a faint smirk came over his face. Then of course he snitched on Lucinda about what she hag said.

I said it from day 1 when he was in the board room with Nicholas - a snide nasty little bully boywith the looks of an incredibly sullen Kevin the teenager. I really don't care who wins on Wednesday but I would be so happy if this little shit got his come uppance. I'm beginning to think Sir Alan has a really bad judge of character.

Look at the final four:

1. Helene - Sour individual
2. Claire - loves the sound of her own voice, spiteful.
3. Lee - I must admit to having a soft spot for him but there is no way he would have made the final 2 in previous years.
4. Alex - Jesus wept. What a squealing brat.

How on earth did they manage to get through the audition process let alone into the final?

In real life if you produced a dishonest, badly presented CV you wouldn't even be invited for an interview. Or, if in an interview you swore;bored the interviewer senseless with your tedious life story or casually referred to colleagues as 'gobshites' you would be shown the door.

As for the backstabbing weasel Alex and rent-a-gob Claire - words just fail me.

The whole thing is a farce and just shows what a poor judge of character AS/Series Producer are. They might have improved the ratings by drawing in the Big Brother crowd but in the process they have managed to destroy what was once a highly entertaining programme for anyone with a modicum of intelligence - cheers for that.
