I was on a Leisure 200 contract direct with Vodafone and I too got a letter saying my rental would increase, as would the cost of daytime calls. After a lot of strong words and expressing my discontent at prices going up (daytime call charges have gone up from 20p to 29p per minute - I make that a nearly 50% increase - I did ask why they were doing this when there's been all this stuff in the news about prices going down - their answer was we're just being competitive and keeping up with other providers) they offered me a (non)Perfect fit plan with three months half line rental and 50 free texts per month for three months. After that though the rental will be same price as if I'd stayed on Leisure 200 as that is going up in price due to being a non-current plan.
I know there's people out there who think Vodafone are a rip off and other providers are cheaper but I generally get good service from them and all my friends and family are on Vodafone so I rarely have any call charges. Katie. |
