She seems "real".

There's plenty of time for Alexandra to become more popular, after all she's only been in the House a few hours 
I like her too. I thought the crowd were to quick to judge. She didn't saying OTT like Dale in her VT.
I think it's lovely the way she's really taken to Michael and helping him out. People always forget on here that HMs generally exaggerate their VT's in order to get in the house, I don't think Alex is much different in that respect.

Unfortunately, I think a lot of this could be left out of the highlights show. If they're looking for a bitch at this early stage and are going off the crowd reaction, this won't be shown.

Both Davina and the Big Mouth presenter talked about her like she was a bitch and very up herself. (One of them said she'd probably call herself "Alexandra the Great".) But the woman who was on Big Mouth via some kind of telly link didn't buy it, and then the studio audience didn't seem to either. Which is promising.
Unfortunately, with so many HMs they probably won't show much of her, which will leave many viewers with the impression they got from the launch show.
(I'm assuming she won't provide any material that will make it easy to paint her as a bitch, and so unless they really have it in for her, for some mysterious reason, they probably won't.)

Knowing my luck with favourites, she'll be badly edited until she's evicted.
The bad edits really started coming into play when they began putting more than twenty housemates into a series, so it mainly started for me when BB7 kicked off. Lea and Ais in particular and then Nicky, Kara and Laura last year.I can see Alex going in a similar direction, unfortunately.
I agree with you about the first week evictions, too... Back in the 'good old days' of BB1 and BB2, we actually had a decent idea of what each housemate was like because there were only ten to begin with and it took two weeks before the first housemate was evicted.
Now we end up with sixteen housemates and eight days to try and get to know the nominees.
I really like her. I enjoyed he way she stood in front of the entrance goading the crowd on, then seemed totally blase about the booing when she went into the house.

It sounds like BB will now have material that could be used against her, and so the edit will matter hugely.
Still, it looks like she's part of the series first clash, which should at least block some accusations.

I'm withdrawing from the thread right now.
I feel disgusted in Alexandra. She hasn't known any of the housemates for more than 48 hours and now she and Dennis are trying to make the 'wedding' all about them. She's been bright enough to realise it isn't real, but her general attitude towards the whole thing is simply terrible.
It was nice to appreciate her for a short time, but I'm out.

I think her bitchy and cunning ways are going to make great car crash telly. I'm going to love hating her, so will appreciate her!
