Sky+ / Sony Home Theatre Help
Hi
Tried looking through the various other posts in relation to this but I can't seem to find the answer I want. I've got a Sony DAV-DZ260 Home Theatre which will have my PS3 connected through the Optical In. I also have a Pace V3 Sky+ box (not HD). How can I connect this to the Home Theatre ? Can I run a co-ax from the TV out on the back of the Sky box to co-ax on the Home Theatre or is there an Optical Out at the back somewhere (I can't check as I'm at work) ? Alternatively, there's an Audio In on the front of the Home Theatre. Will running the audio cables that I used to have running from the Sky to my old Hi Fi do the trick if I use a 2 into 1 splitter ? I'm just trying to use the Home Theatre for everything as frankly, the speakers on the Bravia TV are pants. Thanks |

Sky+ will have an optical output, the trouble is you only have one optical input on the sound system - not a problem, all you need is an optical switchbox, this will allow you to connect the PS3 and Sky+ to your system, this way you will get multichannel surround when available.
You need something like this......... http://www.astarsolutions.co.uk/prod...1102&r=froogle |
